i had a wonderful time , our waiter was a sweet heart and recommended the blue mist. it was the best hookah flavor I've had to date.. only down side is back in the DMV the coals are bigger and they give you 2 . but also back home i think it might be a little more expensive..
She even walked over and offered to take me and my husband picture =)
The most awesome hookah lounge on the East coast! Very inviting furniture, set up and decor? Get there early enough and you have the place to yourself. They have frozen hookahs, and they are great after a hot beach day. Â Very refreshing. Â The requisite Arabic pop vids are on the many tvs and their selection of tobacco flavors is large. Â Great place to visit in OC.
Review Source:I visited this spot labor day weekend after a long day at the beach/boardwalk. Â Really glad there was a hookah lounge in OC. The environment is nice, leather lounge chairs and pretty clean environment. Thy play pop music videos for music and I was pretty happy it wasn't blasting as you enter the place. Â When I went there it wasn't too busy but considering they are open till 5am (i arrived at 11pm) i may have been a little early.
Hookah flavor they sell a large variety of al fakher and star buzz priced at $10 and $15 dollar for a single person. I notice they incorporate the old way of charging per person instead of per hookah so if you have several people the price goes down but still have to pay per person. Â I got the blue mist flavor. Â When it came out they use the Egyptian style pipes. Â No complaints here, the top of the bowl was cover by a bowl shield which I removed. Â Upon opening it I noticed they use the old smaller coals instead of the larger size I'm used to. Â Takes a little more to get it started and burns faster. Â The other thing I found out was they charge 1 dollar for additional coal. Â Not a big deal but typically the hookah lounges around the DMV provide up to 3 coals per hookah without extra charge. Â Feel that was a little cheap on their part to charge extra coals.
For drinks it's not expensive 2 dollars for soda for a can. Â Overall was ok, there aren't any other options so this works. Worth visiting if you want some hookah and relaxing environment. Â I'd recommend it, for the place it was a good visit. Â Hookah comes out fast, large variety of flavors, comfortable environment and they have free WI FI too. Â Food I didn't try but I did see the menu on the table and it seems they have some decent dishes.
Loved coming here to chill out on leather seats and b/s while music videos played and smoke from a hookah. The server or uhm, hookah expert (?) suggested the 'blue mist' flavor and came around to clear the ash. The coals last a really long time and the flavor we had was good, no complaints.
This place is fantastic but missing some things. They offer iced drinks and snacks but no hot tea. Also even though the website says there is a food menu they didn't have any of the sandwiches or salads they advertise.
Either way this lounge is one of the nicest hookah spots I have been to and would definately go back. Their hours are open until 5 am, located near the boardwalk area and about a block from the bus stop.
