China House

Not China House anymore! Now it's Lin's Kitchen. I love the new owner. She knows how to prepare home style Chinese food. Great service, clean and the food rocks!

If I could give zero stars I would.  
This was my first time ordering from China House and I will NEVER order from them again.  
1) order arrived 20 minutes late
2) poorly packed food leaked all over everything in the bag
3) did not receive the drinks we ordered (I called and they said they would send them right over.  Finally received drinks 45 minutes later and then they were not even the ones we ordered)
4) received a wrong item (ordered BBQ spare ribs and instead got strips of BBQ Pork with no bones and 90% fat)
5) poor quality of food - food had clumps of corn starch throughout, the beef was cut in huge, inedible chunks, the chicken was full of cartilage
6) sauteed string beans were NOT.  They were green beans combined with green peppers, corn, broccoli and gravy
7) mongolian beef did not taste anything like what it should taste like, was inedible
8) Called to express my grievances and spoke with Ling, he said he would call me back.  He never did.  I ended up calling him back... now I was really mad and requested that he give me a refund.  He did not want to do anything to rectify the situation, did not offer to send over new food.  Finally, he agreed to give me a refund of 50% for my order.  That was on Friday... today is Tuesday and still no refund.

BUYER BEWARE... THIS PLACE IS POORLY MANAGED AND HAS TERRIBLE QUALITY FOOD.

We live very close to China House and order one of their Lunch specials about once a month. Not the greatest Chinese food (I agree about the sweet and sour, it needs green peppers, onions, pineapple ...but all you get is sauce) My wife and I both have our favorites and the lunch special portions are so large we easily make a dinner and lunch out of it, not bad for $5! Oh, they have your food up and ready fast, I've never had to wait.
