I've probably been eating here for at least 15 years. Â It has been, and continues to be, my family's go to "dine in" Chinese restaurant. Â Now that I live in CL it has also become my go to take out Chinese place as well.I couldn't tell you how it has stayed in business this long, as it always seems empty, but I'm glad it has.
The oolong tea is delicious as are nearly all the dishes I've tried over the years. Â Most recently my favorite has been the crispy beef but I can vouch for the fried rice, the beef with broccoli, and the cashew chicken. Â The egg rolls, crab rangoon, pot stickers, and friend wontons are also very good.
I can't recommend this place enough.
This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I love their lunch buffet, even though the selection of items is smaller than those that specialize in Chinese buffets the food seems much better and fresher. I always go for the buffet so service is not a problem for me but if I wanted service some times the wait staff is hard to find. Parking in front can also be a problem at times since they share the parking with a number of very busy stores.
Review Source:I really don't know how this great place stays in business because whenever I go there it's largely empty. It belies the great food they deliver and the service that delivers it.
The egg rolls are nice sized and pretty good, but they do have a bit of peanut butter in them that, for me, is a bit overdone but others like a lot.
So far, nothing I've ordered has disappointed me and that makes me a fan.
Kind of cool that they have some Fillipno food in the back of their menu. Kids love those lumpia. Prices for lunch and dinner aren't too bad, no sticker shock. The Chinese part of the menu is marginal. Kind of place I don't mind taking the kids and letting them throw rice all over the floor or whatever because no one seems to care.
Warning, the service is really bad when they are busy. Lost my takeout order once, got it wrong another time, etc. They're nice enough people but it turns into amateur night pretty quick when there are more than 5 or so tables.
Also sometimes it is hard to find parking since the supermarket next door is always so busy.
Nice fish tank.
