City Pool Hall

best pool hall in town!!!  And the regulars are the best!

I wrote the below review 6 years ago, and I've been going to City Pool Hall with semi regularity for... the past 6 years. I've become much more familiar with CPH.

The manager. Still bitchy. My friends and I are on leagues and frequent CPH. Sometimes 2-3 times a week for some of them, (I'm once/week) all of us eating, drinking, during otherwaise slow times. And yet, CPH wants to raise our league rates again. Some thanks, huh?

The tables are very nice and very well taken care of, the food is generally good, (my favorite is the pretzels, though I will also vouch for the tuna melt- yum) the waitstaff is usually very attentive, and all else considered, this isn't a bad spot.

What they need to learn is that a little customer appreciation goes a long way.

Not normally the type of place I'd go to but when I scheduled a lunch meeting nearby at the Point without realizing the Point isn't open for lunch we stopped in here.

The veggie wrap with chicken was delicious and the staff very friendly.

Not a gourmet or fancy place but they have some good options even for a bar setting.
