Yum. I love a good HB sandwich. My go-to order is the turkey/cheddar, but I have had others that I liked as well. I just can't say no to a sandwich on a pretzel bread. The sandwiches aren't cheap, but they are fresh and delicious. You definitely get what you pay for.

HB used to serve roasted veggies as a side, but now I think you have to pay for them separately. That's a bummer because I really enjoyed them as a side! Oh well.

This location is less crowded than the others, and there always seems to be adequate seating during the lunch hour.

The employees are extremely efficient. On a recent visit, there were five people behind the counter and another two at the registers. It's like a well-oiled machine in there!

I am a Hannah's believer, and I loooooooove this location. It's big and way less cramped than the other locations in the Loop. I have never had a sandwich I haven't liked, but the Parma is perfection! Everyone is super nice, and we make this a frequent part of our weekend routine. They even have gluten free and vegan options that actually taste great. I have picked up several loaves of their gluten free bread for my grandfather because he loves sandwiches and has the hardest time finding gluten free bread that tastes even remotely decent. Hannah's has a great recipe! And if you're looking for chocolate, they have the coolest selection of chocolate bars!

If you've never tried it, then you are definitely missing out. Do it!

P.S. I would just like to address the reviews that say the portions are too small. I am a little shocked actually. I think the portioning is perfect! Plus the ingredients are fresh and top notch. If you're looking for some XL super sized whatever, then stick to fast food. You will definitely be fine with a sandwich and chips or a half sandwich and salad or soup. I actually think their side salads are HUGE! I have a hard time finishing them.

I am completely obsessed with Hannah's Bretzel!  I've come here twice now, once with my mom and once with my boyfriend, and both times were amazing.  My boyfriend's reaction was "it's a lot of money for a little sandwich," and while that may be true, it's a real quality sandwich.

I'm gluten free, so being able to have a gluten free sandwich that actually tastes good is a really big deal for me.  I had given up hope long ago that I would ever be able to eat a normal-tasting sandwich again, but Hannah's Bretzel changed that.  Their gluten free bread is powdery just like real artisan bread, and they keep it individually wrapped in a separate container away from the other breads.  The staff changed their gloves before handling my sandwich, and they all seemed really well-educated on Celiac disease.  Both times, I had the pesto and mozzarella sandwich because all the ingredients just seemed like me, but next time, maybe I'll be brave and branch out into the more complicated options.  They have some really fancy sandwich choices! My mom has had both of the beef options, and she loves them both.  I swear she goes to Hannah's Bretzel at least once a week for lunch, and if I could do that too, I definitely would!

But the best part about this place is how you feel afterwards.  Their sandwiches don't just sit in your stomach, making you feel obese and sluggish.  You feel energized and healthy, and there's no need for that afternoon nap!  I'm not normally one to go for things that are organic, but here, you can feel the difference in the quality ingredients they use.  Yes, it's more expensive than most other sandwich shops, but Hannah's Bretzel is no ordinary sandwich shop.  You get what you pay for, and in my opinion, it's well worth it.
