Mercer One Thirteen

Good location, nice interior, resto theme. Good ambiance too. So why one star?

I got sprayed by one of the bartenders. Granted, yes it was my birthday, but I was nowhere near drunk. The stupid woman did not even apologize and tried to play it cool by being flirtatious. Yes, I am a guy, but I am also a guy drenched in drinking water on a night out. Do not think for a second your annoying voice will win my heart over. The drinks were also a bit on the steep side.

Pretty nice interior. Lots of seating options for those who don't feel like dancing. If you do feel like dancing, there's lots of space to dance. I don't know if it happens all the time, but the night I went, the DJ played each song about 30 seconds or less. It made it hard to get a groove going, hahahahaha :)

The drinks are pretty expensive though. Might be safe to pre-party first if you aren't looking to spend a lot on drinks. They weren't too strong either. The vodka cranberry ratio is mostly cranberry!

I would come back if my friends wanted to, but it wasn't that memorable!

Fun place to visit when I go to Chicago! Nice ambiance, good food, drinks, and service.
