Phenomenal. Â Absolutely phenomenal. Â Essentially everything that CAN be home-made *is*. Â Awesome noodles, awesome sauces... quality ingredients and GREAT service. Â Portions are plenty to feed you three times over. Â This place hit it out of the ball-park. Â EXCELLENT. Â Perfect for everything from family meals to quiet romantic dates... plenty of room as well for larger parties and business meetings as well. Â This is our go-to Italian place from now on! Â Just... WOW.
Review Source:We just ate at Clara's for the third time and it was really disappointing.  We had  reserved a table for 5; the really unfriendly hostess tried to cram us into a 4-top table by putting the high chair on the corner of the table. This was not going to work, so we requested a bigger table and she was quite huffy about it ..."I'll have to move some other people around."  Well, the entire time we were there, not one single larger party came into the restaurant, so I'm not sure who had to be "moved around."  in fact, the restaurant was not that busy at all.  The waiter was pretty abrupt throughout our meal, and to top it off, both my husband and I had dishes that involved pools of water on our plates with our sauce/pasta.  Yuck!  We love the homemade pasta, but we were really bummed out after our last visit to Clara's.
Review Source:As always, great dining experience. Â I've been coming here for the last ten or so years (1-2 times in the winter months and 2-3 times in the summer). Â It's a bit of drive for me, but well worth it. Â We usually combine our evenings at Clara's with a movie at the next door Cinemark theater. Â The service was great this time, but every rare occasion (usually when it's jam packed and they're short a waitress or two), it can be not so good. Â The Alfredo sauce was a little on the thick side for my friend (tasted good to me though), but all in all - great food, huge portions, excellent bread and Italian family like atmosphere. Â I recommend not coming unless you're prepared to eat alot :)
