Capri D'Amici Italian Ristorante

I attended Capri di Amici 's Sunday @ the Opera and was blown away-but it was actually the 7 friends  with me who insisted I enter one of my 5 star reviews! The food was spectacular & for the event  we had a choice of: portobello braised pork chops, tilapia, chicken breast & asparagus rissotto,eggplant parmasean & sauteed spinach, & also a vegetarian entree. Included was choice of salad, pasta, an amazing apetizer/ variety of cookies, mini-pastries for dessert/ coffee/ tea. The complimentary drink was a quality house wine & again we were given several choices.
Price point: tremendous value/ one low price for dinner & show
Waiters are authentic, old-world italian & service was top-notch. The food was so fresh & delicious......
The entertainment : absolute world class.
The ristorante itself is quaint ,intimate, & must be the hidden GEM of Woodridge. Well worth the trip from the city & we will all be back! I understand Sunday @ the Opera will be an on-going event offered 4th Sunday each month except for December 2011-but please call to verify & for reservations (all seats were taken). I "like" & follow on facebook because of all the special events they offer!

Rapini and steaming hot bowls of adante Pasta cooked to perfection. A vodka sauce to die foe. This is not served from some corporate refridgerator stored in plastic bags. A wait ataff that is professional, courteous and always willing to please. Drinks that will satisfy every thirst. An owner that is dedicated to serving the most authentic Italian food, outside of being in  Capri Italy . And for your ride home, I suggest a little pistachio gelato to go.

This restaurant makes me feel like I am actually in Italy. Our waiter is very friendly and attentive. The place is small but very nice. The busser or assistant was also really helpful and attentive. The prices are very good considering the quality and portions. Drinks are also a decent rate for the area. Our server dusan was great and the experience was all around awesome.
