Follow up 8 months later:
The service level of both the management, and waiters/bartenders at this place has completely tanked over the last year+ or so. The management  is not concerned with the interests of his patrons and the service tendered.
A group of co-workers and I arrived to the office on a usually Thursday evening for a weekly happy hour that we usually do, and decided to change from the Famished Frog/Grasshopper/Pazzo which we usually do, and go here again. The service was atrocious. For a beer bar, our waiter showed up nigh twice in the first 45 minutes. Meanwhile we had a table seated with 9 people; feet from the bar. Eventually we just ended up vacating our seats when we required said libations. Understandably it is not necessarily best etiquette to do as such but by our collective efforts, we definitely waited an acceptable amount of time.
The waiter/manager at the time had the audacity to approach us and claim we were not even giving the waiter proper time to service us.... We were this waiters entire section.
Upon asking for criticism, or seeing if there was anything he could do, we stated the obvious that our server was entirely inadequate in the current manner he was performing.
His retort was "I make maybe 50$ a night from tips, I'm more concerned that a bunch of, and I'll paraphrase ("drinkers") like you are being unfair to my staff, than how you think they are performing.
This was entirely rude and abrasive. The waiter, not once, approached any of us before he complained to his manager, which is the point when he came over and stated the above.
Chuck, quit your day job.
Since they have replaced a majority of their professional waiting/bartending staff in the past year, they are speedily losing the atmosphere and attraction that allowed them to compete with other local bars.
