Club Pisces

I normally wouldn't walk into an establishment like this but I decided to join a few coworkers on a Friday afternoon. With drink specials at $2 I wanted to buy my coworkers a round but in order to put anything on my card I had to spend $50, so I ended up buying food also. I bought their round, a $17 steak, and a $6 "sausage" plate. Not sure what "sausage" was I just needed to hit $50. So when the "sausage" arrived it was vienna sausage. I had to laugh at that one, I could have bought an 18pk of vienna sausage for $7. They ladies there are very friendly and helpful. Our tables ordered alot so they brought us house pupus which were fried aku and real "sausage". As the rest drank beer, I had my typical vodka/cran, another $7 but at least the bartender had a heavy hand. Next time I go, I now know to bring cash.

Well, I always figured all the bars along or near the Palama Canal were Hostess Bars so I've always avoided.  However, I found out Club Pisces is a sports bar and NOT a hostess bar!  So, safe to bring your family and kids.  Well, maybe not the kids.  

Recently, I went to Club Pisces for a Co-Worker's aloha party and I was pleasantly surprised.  The bar from the outside looks literally like a dump except for its nice new shiny sign.  I stepped in to the door and it was like I went through a magical portal and stepped in to another world!  Inside is super clean, numerous flat wide screen TV's line all sides of the walls, and nice clean plush booths.  They have a wide selection of pu pu's to order, 1 private karaoke room, and you can also sing within the bar.  The Karaoke songs are a little on the pricier side at $2 per song.  

The service was super friendly and very attentive.  This is a typical Korean bar, so they did offer us complimentary pu pu's all night long including pop corn, ham, etc.  Food was so so.  However, I didn't try some of their other main dishes.

In summary, great place to drink esp. after work, great venue to watch sports, and sing karaoke.  Try this place out if you're nearby
