when i saw the description for this bar was "thai food", i was like.... what?!?  Thai food?  at a bar?!

a good change of pace!  

they not only have thai items, but they also have your standard bar food fare.... AND..... BALUT.  

yes, BALUT.  that famous Filipino snack food of a fertilized hard-boiled duck (or chicken) egg.....

i still haven't tried it, but i'm working my courage up..... perhaps the next time i come here.....

but keep in mind - if you come here, the food here takes FOREVER..... The bar was pretty empty, and we only ordered 2 items, yet our food came out nearly an hour later. Wtf?   1 hour for 2 items?  is you crazy?

we had the pad Thai and kalbi.

The kalbi had good flavor, and was thick cut, but was tough and not tender at all....

the pad thai was decent, and i would probably get this again, but the wait time is so ridiculous.  i can only imagine what it would be like if this place were busy.

some pluses are that this bar is HUGE.  it is much bigger than i thought it would be from the outside.  they have two 7-foot  pool tables in pretty good condition, 4 dart boards, and TV's all over.   also, there are tons of places to sit.

check them out, but keep in mind, if you get food, its gonna take a while......

two 7'x3.5' tables.  fast felt. heavy cue ball.  got some short poly girls dancing old sko saturday nites when live band is doing the karaoke....  lol!

Kathy's Place is a dumpy hole in the wall dive operated by very unscrupulous people.    The bartender overcharged us on our drinks by padding our bill.  We will never go there again and suggest this place be avoided by everyone.
