Mercury

It was ok for a night, but not on our return list.  Drinks? I ordered a drink? That's how memorable they weren't.

If you're looking for an upscale bar, this is not it.  If you're looking for "fancy" foo-foo drinks, this is not the place for it.  But if you're in the mood for a great dive bar where it feels like Cheers when you walk in, then you've found your spot at Mercury.  They book very diverse acts (from karaoke to rock bands to burlesque shows) and the bartenders are quick and pretty friendly even when they are swamped.  It's hit or miss on whether they will be busy, but if there's a show performing it 's a good bet they'll be busy that night, so come early!

Came here for a friend's bday. Drinks were meh and a little on the pricey side for a dive-ish bar. Nice alternative to the hipster scene down the street, but it's so easy to go somewhere else for a better dive scene or better drink service.
