The Cork Lounge

So....This place is a little dated & it was dam near empty when we arrived (granted it was only 5pm on a saturday lol) its tucked behind and attached to a small diner, at first we were a little off put by it being so empty when we entered and wasnt too sure how the 2 regulars sitting at the bar  would react to 2 young noobs waltzing in, but we were soooooo surprised!!! not only were we welcomed with open arms by the regulars and the sweet as hell blonde bartender but we felt right at home sitting at the bar small talking with everyone. the jack and cokes are stronggg and only $5 bucks ($3 during happy hour) and it was just a nice little spot to have a few drinks and chill. the atmosphere is a little ehhh but the bartenders and surroundings make it worth going to have a few drinks with friends. The happy hour cant be beat...$2 PBR on tap and $3 reg drafts. Havent had any of the food there yet but we will be back to try it out.

I wish I could give more stars!! I realize if I write this I may lose my table but I can't hold it in any longer. It's the best kept secret in the valley. If you like fantastic food, the best drinks and service like you've never had before you need to go. The atmosphere is low key, comfy booths, juke box and great entertainment you need to be there. I've been going about 3 times a week for maybe a year and I feel like family. Remember Cheers? Everyone knows your name? Well, it's like that only better. Red leather booths, a little dark but not too dark. What more can I say except keep away from my table!!

This bar is interesting. Its kind of tucked away in the back of a grandma and grandpa diner. The fellow patrons seem sparse except for the regular locals and during karaoke. I usually went during the days and came to enjoy being served by Whitney. She was fantastic at helping the day get a bit better with a drink and awesome conversation. Haven't seen her in a while so I haven't been going as often. The bar itself is a bit depressing and terribly outdated but the prices are good and there is a check in deal where you get free fries/onion rings. Go with a large group and youll probably enjoy yourself. Its a good bar to spend the first hour of your night at before moving on to a more fun location.
