Cozy Up

Small bar with food, kind of a hole in the wall place.... Where the old Ken Berry's Steakhouse used to be. Felt a little out of place at first, but the owner was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Ordered the food (you are supposed to order at the window to the kitchen - be she took our order instead) Took a while for the food, but it was totally worth it - it was all cooked fresh. Four of us had the Chicken Philly...and it was great..hot and tasty with just the right amount of jalapenos on it  and perfect bun... The fries were also very good. Another of us had the Turkey Burger and said it was good too (it was a white meat turkey burger)

The decor and carpeting really needs updating. New carpet and paint would go a long way to making it nicer. The owner wants to "restore" it to the old Steakhouse decor (if anyone has any pictures of it...she's looking for them)

Probably not a regular spot for us, but would enjoy hanging out once in a while. Maybe a good watering hole. More of a bar with food available, but the food, albeit bar type fare, was certainly very good and worth going back for.
