  My co-workers and I headed over to Crux on a weekday for what was supposed to be one drink.  We ended up having such a great time, we stayed until 11:00 p.m.!!  
  
  The bartender was great.  She read us the specials and was very attentive, ready to pour the next drink when our glass got low.  When we got hungry, one of the owners who was there gladly helped us out with info on the local delivery places and then even placed the order for us!
  
  The jukebox was on and had great selections (Arcade Fire and MGMT).  It was not loud, so we could keep the conversation going.
  
  We chatted it up with a group of regulars, who like Crux so much, they had built a bottle drop for the place (the bartender can drop an empty from the bar and it gently rolls down and down until it lands in the basement, in one piece, ready to be recycled).  I love that kind of neighborhood bar camaraderie!
  
  When the weather gets warm, stop here for a drink in the backyard!

  Love the bartenders and the people, great place to have a couple relax and meet new people. Must go if around and want a good time

  Went to this bar about twice and both times it fell short of my humble expectations, don't let the loud music audible from outside deceive you into thinking this place is "it". With positive going first, the place is very cleanly, conveniently located, and also the decor is nice and warm. To the negative, the bartenders are downright lazy as it is above them to come by and offer a next round (so much for trying to build some good rapport) and they don't mention daily specials unless you mention it (so much for up selling and being helpful). Surprisingly they don't know how to serve beer properly as repeatedly my pint would arrive with 3 quarters of foam/head at the top. I didn't understand why they hadn't fixed the juke box as it was off the both times I had went  to Crux so unfortunately I was stuck listening to Ke$ha and other (insert the annoying song you hear on the radio 10 times a day) random crappy teeny pop manure not a big deal as I just tune it out. Basically it looks like this place caters to the lower end crowd as far as bars go afterall with laggard lazy excuses for bartenders you won't be attracting many good $$$ spending clientele. With some new bartenders this place really could be great but for now its a fail. The place is really deserving of a more proper name as Crud not "Crux".

  This place is a great neighborhood bar. Great staff that makes you feel right at home. Drinks are VERY reasonably priced and they always have great drink specials. Good crowd for a queens bar with good music and they always have all the sports games playing on flat screen tv's. Great place to have drinks with a friends in a nice clean atmosphere.
