Damenzo's Pizza

Food here is a hit and miss.  The pizza is good but not great.  The mexican food is beyond disgusting.  I got sick from eating it here.  The fries are greasy and soggy.  I would only stick with the pizzas here.  Everything else on the menu is either average or dissapointing.

I've been going here since my days living across the street while a student at UIC.  Their pizza slices are HUGE...and that's an understatement when I say that.  For just over $3 a slice, you can feed about 3 people with that same slice!

Not the best pizza I've ever had but worth the money especially if you are in the area.

I can only review the steak torta. I actually went in today because I had an obscene craving for churros (which they don't carry) and so instead ordered a steak torta. It was seasoned well, the bread was toasted and yum and the filling was perfect. But the stars of the show were the salsas- the red (orange?) and green that came in teeny tiny little cups in the bottom of the bag-- I could drink those things! I can't believe I've lived here for 5 months and not had it before. Will def be back.
