Francesca's Cafe

Francesca's is my place to be when i am visiting town. It's a cute little European coffee shop that feels like home.

I am picky about coffee but their coffee is AMAZING! Not just the coffee, though, the food is delicious and is handed to you fresh and warm.

Customer service is great. Very nice people, always smiling and welcoming.

Starbucks has got nothin' on them.

Nice little cozy place. Prices are reasonable for the pastries & coffees. The customer service is awesome.

This place is way under utilized, I think, because they're hard to recognize as a hip little cafe from the street.  One reviewer pointed out the gigantic "coffee" sign outside the shop, but that seems more suited to a gas station serving lukewarm Dunkin Donuts brew than this little gem of espresso masterpieces.  

The espresso drinks are delicious and better priced than Starbucks.  The sandwiches are decadent.  The pastries are imaginative and delicious.  The real cherry on the top of Francesca's is the customer service.  They could not be more accommodating or kind -- by far the best customer service I've received anywhere in Chicago.  I can always count on them giving me generous samples of all the pastries while they whip up my latte.  Who could ask for more?
