I used to make West Town Bakery (previously Bleeding Heart) a destination for vegan baked goods, but was really disappointed today when I saw that they no longer label which items are vegan (v). Â I know that not everyone comes here to specifically get vegan bakery items, but my friends and I did. Â Why would you want to be less vegan-friendly in Ukranian Village? Â This does not make sense to me.
Review Source:I came to brunch here with co-worker. Breakfast is my most favorite thing in the world and I don't get to eat it very often. I ordered the Hullabaloo Home Skillet of Mushrooms, onions, bacon, white cheddar, and country gravy and my egg over easy. The creamy yolk went really well with everything in my bowl. It was a rich, creamy indulgence but I loved every bite.
In the diner they have a counter with lots of sweet treats on display. They have a variety of cake balls to choose from that would fit any craving. I had a lemon almond cake call. It was the perfect size of sweet.
This was a cute little place. One of my favorites parts of brunch is they were playing an awesome mix of 90s music. We had a little brunch and a jam session with Bel Biv Devoe "Posion."
