Still no disappointments with Dante's. Have returned to have lunch here again and there was all the necessary elements of any great dining experience. Great service with a friendly touch, no waiting to be seated, very clean and well maintained dining area, and their dishes are delicious especially when served with fresh mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Cannot wait to return!

would never go again...asked if i can see the menu about sandwiches and the waiter said i cant show u the menu ,,i will tell u.  But i wanted to see a menu ! Then i realize he was giving  me a bitchy attitude because i wanted a sandwich and it was dinner time.   I guess he wanted the bill to be higher.  Nasty guy. Looked like he was the only waiter there on a fri nite.  After the nasty waiter attitude the  food was just ok,,,,but i wouldnt go back. Prices very high and not good food.  Better italian at donnas in pal pk.

Dante's was already one of our favorite places, but we just had a Bridal Shower there and it was FABULOUS!  Dante and Elena are so gracious, the food outstanding and the wait staff was attentive, efficient and very cheerful! They made our exciting day so much easier than catering at home and so much nicer than at a hall. Dante's Place is warm and friendly, as well as elegant! Thanks so much to everyone for the wonderful day!

This is the place that keeps you coming back for years. The owners Dante and Elena as well as the wait staff are Great!  If  you choose one of the items off the menu or one of Dante's Specials you cannot go wrong. I recommend the Grilled Calamari ! This place is great for lunch, dinner or that special party. ( they have the room to accommodate )  Let them cater your next event, I had them cater a party of 200, and all 200 people were beyond satisfied and most have become customers themselves.

Stopped by for a late take out order. The portion of pasta was a bit small for the price and too salty for my taste buds. The pasta came with a side salad and bread but nothing special about them.

The staff was very friendly and the place looked very cozy so maybe I should return for a sit down meal.

I have eaten pizza from Dante's and its old incarnation (Leonia Pizzeria) more than I can count.  I haven't been back in ages, but I don't remember their pasta or pizza being very good.

Cute little restaurant; one of the few non-Korean establishments on Broad Ave.

Servers were attentive, the atmosphere is cozy, and they serve lots of seafood in their linguine (they don't skimp, hurrah!). Also, it's BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle with you if you're planning to dine here.

    I'll be back again.

When we arrived, based on how nice the place looked, I expected we were going to have a wonderful meal.  Well, unfortunately it was just so-so.  I had lasagna which is my standard barometer for this class of Italian restaurant.  It was a nice sized portion and looked good on the plate, but alas it was cold inside.  The small garlic rolls they served in the bread basket were nice, but the Italian bread was uninspiring, as was the salad.  Of note, this place does not have bar, so it is a bring your own bottle place.  The others in our party said that their dishes were "ok", but nobody was bowled over.

had the Veal Saltambuca and it was wonderful!  And the chocolate suffle was as light as air. The only problem was it took 2 requests and a long time to get our check.

Have gone past this place a 1000 times and finally went in with a few people for dinner.

Food, fantastic. Definitely some of the best Italian I've had in a while.

Restaurant; the style needs to be updated badly. Looks like some place your grandparents go to eat. While that's fine for locals or repeats, if you want to continue to bring in more customers, then give the place a good updating not, an expensive one, just a basic one.

Great Local BYOB. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently very good. The owners seem to try to get to know the regulars on a first name basis. Great family atmosphere here, but it can get a bit noisy and crowded on peak nights, so if you're looking for an intimate place, this ain't it.  They offer great take out and their pizza is also very good. The Dante himself goes around to check on everyone to see that they are happy. Sadly, Leonia does not have a diverse downtown restaurant selection, but even if there were more to choose from, going to Dantes would always be a good decision. Recommended!

After bothering Dante himself all week, I had my boyfriend's surprise birthday dinner of about 20 people here this past Friday night.

Dante's just gained 20 more customers.

This BYOB Italian restaurant is a gem in an area that is losing original restaurant charm and falling prey to chains. Dante personally will ensure that you are enjoying your visit and even decorated the table before my party got there!

The food is fresh and delicious. And prices include a salad and a side dish. Most places will give you maybe one or two pieces of thin chicken francese. Dante's gives you four or five decently sized pieces of chicken.

I am so excited to try their pizza. If it's anything like their delicious chicken francese, crazy good calamari and refreshing salad - it's bound to be one of the best in the area.

TRY IT! With entrees under $20 delivered with a family feel, you've got nothing to lose :)
