Carnegie Hall is great. Â Their marketing department is why I'm reviewing. Â Don't ever give them your phone number. Â They call non stop and they are rude people. Â One caller kept pestering me to donate money. Â They said they had a deal which was one day only where my donation would be matched 2 to 1. Â I don't donate over the phone so I asked him to send me a link to a URL where I could donate. Â He never sent the link. Â He then proceeded to call me 5 days later asking if I donated. Â I told him that he never sent the link. Â Then he said that the deal was in effect again where my donation would be matched 2 to 1. Â This negates what he told me the first time, Â that it was a one time only deal the week earlier. Â That didn't make me feel good about what was going on. Â Then, I tried to politely inform him that I was not interested in donating at this point in time and the gentleman on the phone said "we both know what that means. Â You're never going to donate" Â to which I responded "I certainly won't donate any more [because of your attitude]" and he hung up on me. Â Then again today another representative called telling me about upcoming shows. Â I said I was not interested at this time. Â She then started telling me about more upcoming shows, to which I said that my schedule is booked. Â She then continued to try pester me into more shows. Â I had to hang up on her. Â
The callers are too insistent and highly rude. Â This makes me dislike Carnegie Hall as a whole. Â
Again, the performance space is great, performers are top notch, it's one of the best places to see a top tier performance.
