Barcelona Bar

I've been going here for about 6 months now.  Definitely a unique place and usually fun.  They have a lot of shots that they turn into experiences.  Like the "Harry Potter" with lots of fire involved and the "Full Metal Jacket" with a lot of shots and berating the patrons for fun.  That's kind of where it turns bad.  The bar tenders have such shitty attitudes it's ridiculous.  I've taken tons of friends there, spent a lot of money, made new friends there and generally everything was great.  Went there the other night and one of the bartenders (Casper, apparently he's new) starts hating on me big time while I'm talking to a group of girls.  They weren't impressed and I wasn't thrilled about it either.  Starts making up lies to the bouncer about me, little did he know I'm friends with the bouncer and he knows I don't act inappropriately.  Unfortunately I won't be returning to give them business.

Barcelona Bar is a MUST if you're in the Midtown/Hell's Kitchen area!!  This place is a fun time not to be missed.  There's an entire list on the wall of the types of shots they serve!  Everything I had was amazing.

I highly suggest the Chocolate Pretzel shot...and yes, it really tastes like a chocolate covered pretzel!!  

It's a tiny hole in the wall place, and very homey inside.  The service is beyond friendly, and made the experience even more memorable!!  Perfect place to sit and chill with your friends and a fun stop on any night of bar hopping.

Okay so I've been to the real 'barcelona' bar in Barcelona where they have over 500 shots for 2 euro each. This place has good unique shots but they are kind of pricey. I've come here a few times with friends literally just to get a fun shot or two before moving elsewhere. It's worth coming here just to order the shots where they set the bar on fire. My friends and I love that!

The bar is very narrow so if everyone is sitting you'll have to squeeze by, but the bartenders are friendly and we've never had a problem actually ordering. I recommend the Harry Potter shot! I won't spoil it for you- Just do as I say and get it.
