  What a great show. Hilarious sketches, excellent improvisers, professional-level comedy with an intimate, at-home feel. Perfect for bringing a friend or a date. Had such a fun night, and for only $5!!

  What goes well with free beer and late night Burbank fun?!
  Answer = Dead Honkey! Their show is hilarious. They not only are clever, diverse and write good stuff, they hold no punches. They get down right dirty about sex, race and violence and make you laugh the entire time. Some of my favorite sketches I've seen there are:
  
  "So Wet" - where a crazy Realtor is obsessed with making two male homeseekers 'wet' with excitement over their future home. Think of it as House Hunters Gone Wet!
  
  "Hitman" - If Doctor Evil was brown instead of white, this is what it would look like. His sidekick Eli is one crazy-ass brotha and will do anything for the big boss! This sketch changes every time they do it too, so you never know what to expect.
  
  "FELIX" - Felix is the Karaoke King of Van Nuys. This is a staple character for Dead Honkey which you can also find on <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.funnyordie.com&s=13ab94f181577a0fc8851ba05283d44b0715626017ddaaf0e58c4ab3bd15e79e" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.funnyordie.com</a>. He is Filipino and gives his kids (Vivian and Victor) grief all the time. I can't wait for them to release a whole sitcom dedicated to Felix Aquino because he is HILARIOUS!
  
  They have plenty of other great sketches like Black & Yellow, Role Play (aka Nerd Sex), The Bouncers and many others I can't name like the Jim Crow Railroad workers one...

  1 FREE TICKET IF YOU CHECK IN!
  I went last night and at the end they told everyone that if you check in you get a free ticket. Hilarious show. I went with a friend who had seen them before and I left very entertained. Free beer and wine which was pretty cool. The show has a bunch of acts(Improv Teams, Sketch teams, and a stand up) and they're all short enough so there's barely any time to judge!! Last night there was a hilarious guy doing stand up. Wish I remembered his name, but either way, fun show and I highly suggest giving it a try. Show was almost sold out when I got there so maybe buying in advance is a good idea.
  
  Also...bob's big boy is right across the street, so that's where I got my milkshake on right afterwards!

  Such a great show, with a great cast of very funny and talented comedians.  You'll get to see sketches you wouldn't find anywhere else.  And who can turn down free beer!

  Very diverse cast which, sadly, is a rarity in LA. And their sketches were clever and ridonculously funny too. I haven't laughed at characters this funny since Men On Film. I give these guys two snaps and a rewind!

  I had no idea what I was getting into when I walked into the theater but it was 5 bucks so me and my girlfriend just went for it and thank god we did. The show was a variety comedy show with improv, standup and sketch comedy and we got free booze as well. Hands down one of the funniest shows I've been to and worth every penny, all 500 of them.

  You can't beat it.  The location is great, right next to a great coffee shop and across from Bob's Big Boy and these guys are funny! Getting in was no problem and we got to sip on free beer while these guys put on an awesome show.  The whole thing was $5 per person! With free parking, funny comedy, and free beer for $5 this can't be beat anywhere in LA!

  This show was a great deal because there was a stand up comic, an improv group, and a sketch group all for five dollars, all really funny. After the show we hit up Bob's Big Boy for some late night burgers - great date night!

  I love the show setup. It's cheap, it's really funny. They just seem like people you would want bring out with your boring friends to balance the conversation.
