  Wider selection than the smaller stores for grocery items. Do your homework. Even sale prices can be found cheaper elsewhere in some cases. Many of the smaller stores now still higher grades of meat at close to the same prices, if not cheaper.

  its good for certain items but other items not so much. there food is more expensive then jewel. but some of there food is much higher quality and better tasting. but the only thing ive found thats amazing is the lunch meat at dominicks

  The whole Dominick's chain has gone down-hill over the years but the major downfall was 10+ years ago when they sold out to Safeway.  
  
  Present Dominick's grocery stores are nothing more than an over-priced Jewel.  The deli selection is better but everything else is over-priced.

  This is my favorite grocery store. It's clean, the food is pretty fresh and I love their fruit. I never get good fruit anywhere but at this Domonick's. Of course, there is a Starbucks inside that I my caramel frapucinno (sp) from and sip while I shop. People say Dominick's is pricey, but so is Jewel and at least the food is worth it from Dominick's.....
