Looking for a weekend brunch place in the Woodlands that doesn't have a 30 min wait is nearly impossible, so I was pleasantly surprised when I went here with no wait, good food, and live music on stage.  Although parking is limited, Dosey Doe is an actual barn with the  interior decorated with old 50s type signs and cute, mismatched chairs/tables.  Two of my favorite things to order are the huevos rancheros and waffles.  The coffee is pretty good too.  Doesy Doe is reasonably priced with a great ambiance for a weekend brunch.  This will continue to be my go-to place for brunch in the Woodlands.
Review Source:I'm a big Dosey Doe fan. Â There are few well-kept secrets in this world and I love the ones I've been lucky enough to stumble into. Â From the outside this place looks a bit kitschy (think flea market), but what's behind all the bad signage is a 160-year-old Kentucky tobacco barn that was painstakingly disassembled and brought to this spot. Â The venue is great, truly intimate and allows one to take in an act (I've seen George Jones, Kinky Friedman, Trace Atkins, et al.) in an up-close way not common in today's crowded world. Â The biggest surprise of all was that the food is fantastic. Â A perfect way to take in Dosey Doe is two couples on a four-top balcony table. Â You can grab a table downstairs, but upstairs is a great buy and after dinner you can stand at the rail, get your drink on and watch the show. Â For concerts there are four entree choices. Â Each person orders one and then you just play pass-the-plate. Â Due to the small venue size, the tix (which include the show and the meal) are a little pricey, but it's worth every penny to see an entertainer interact with the audience. Â Go here once and you will return again and again.
