We went back to Baker Street after about a 12 month hiatus. It's safe to say we won't be going back anytime soon. Couldn't quite put our finger on what was wrong, it was just wrong, service was good, food was good except for fried macaroni balls, positively disgusting to grand kids and adults!! It's just didn't have the atmosphere it used to have.

We went here for lunch so my entire party ordered off of the lunch menu.  I ordered a soup and half sandwich.  The soup was broccoli cheddar, which was the soup of the day and was similar in quality and taste to panera bread's. The half sandwich I ordered was the turkey avocado.  The sandwich was fairly decent, but the avocado seemed to be guacamole and not close to fresh avocado.  The bar area is divided by a barrier and doesn't seem that it allows for good passing and easy accessibility to get drinks.  There are a few tvs around the dining room, so it was nice to watch some live college basketball during lunch. They hide the bathroom behind a door that blends in with the decor. Almost like a secret passage way behind a book case. Overall a decent place to check out.

I dont know why but most of the "Baker St. Pub's" are quite disappointing compared to Sherlocks Pub's.  This place in the forest maze I like to call The Woodlands.  Do they believe in parking lots? I'm unfamiliar with the layout of The Woodlands so it took me about 15-20 minutes just to find out how to get there from 45.  It cost me 10 dollars to park in a garage across the street, of course I could have just driven down the road and walked for 5 minutes but I would have had the choice to park for free. Damn

I get inside and snag a small booth while I wait for my blind date to show up.  I've never had any luck with blind dates, but I figured I would give it another shot.  Turns out it worked pretty damn well.  Anyways, I'm not Yelping Tricia (the blind date), Im Yelping the place.  The beer was ok, kinda bitter what can I expect when I'm used to drinking dark beer, then I turn back to Michelob Ultra for my health.

I asked my waitress for a drink menu because I had no idea what my date would want to order, except that I know she wants something fruity.  Not beer. Strike number 1! Im kidding.  Well, the waitress informed me that they dont have menu's for drinks.  In fact they don't have menu's for anything anymore.  They pulled them off last week.  Im assuming they're changing the prices on things.

The layout of the bar seemed very enclosed and cramped.  Its not a small place, but the way it was designed doesn't allow for much people to hang out by the bar.

    Date: A+
    Drinks: B-
    Venue: F...for epic fail.

    I will never go back.
