Last night I met two friends from the military who I hadn't seen in 17 years so it was important to me that we had dinner someplace memorable. On a recommendation from a friend we tried Fleming's. The peppercorn steak was so good I ignored the side of BBQ sauce completely. Side dishes were served family style and the wine list on an iPad with explanations of each wine that made pairing really easy for a novice like myself. The ambiance and service were amazing. Our waiter was fun, professional and polite. We were well taken care of but he didn't hover so we had the freedom to enjoy ourselves and catch up. The manager stopped by to be sure we were treated well and thank us for coming by. It was a great touch to the perfect dining experience and frankly they made me look like a rockstar as my friends were equally impressed with my choice. Thanks Fleming's. Can't wait for another excuse to return.
Review Source:The "Owner" invited us back for a try again after our first negative experience. Â My understanding was it was to be gratis, but apparently someone didn't get the word. Â Dropped $500 again but the service was very much improved and the food was a drastic improvement. Â All in all a much better experience than our first experience. Â The waiter was very attentive and professional and the food was much improved.
Review Source:We visited Fleming's for a celebratory dinner and were not disappointed. The atmosphere and service were as expected at most top steakhouses.
The steaks were cooked perfectly at medium-rare but my one knock was that the filet mignon was not as flavorful as I was expecting. The bone-in rib eye definitely made up for flavor with its rich marbling.
