Went on a Monday and it was awesome. Drinks were a decent price ranging from a tower of beer for $15, $4 shots, and $3 Wells. (there was also some guy in the bar that bought the whole place 2 rounds of shots..lucky me!) Our waitress was very nice. The fact that she was concerned about our safety was genuinely how it should be. Lol I thought that was cute and awesome. We got our drinks and it all worked out. Awesome time. I plan on coming back to try these mud bug of theirs for around $4.99/lb. :)
Review Source:Incredible mud bugs (aka crawfish). Probably the most spicy and flavorful that I've ever eaten! (Thumbs up!)
+cold beer
+gorgeous, competent, quick staff/service
+low prices
= a new fav on my weekly "to eat" list!
We experienced no wait during lunch. Our "bugs" were on the table within 2 minutes of placing our order.
Very diverse crowd. I would have felt comfortable bringing kids, a preacher, my grandmother, or a date.
Daily specials are very affordable for those on a budget.
I've only been here a few times and only because it's 5 minutes from my house. It's just an ordinary bar nothing special. They have the norm on the menu that you would find at any bar/restuarant joint. I did notice that they have pretty good drink specials on Sunday though for Sunday Funday. The crawfish was okay, didn't have much flavor. They were $4.99 a pound which is pretty reasonable. When we walked in most of the patrons we're sitting at the bar side so we opted to sit on the opposite side, there were about 4 waitresses just standing there watching us and no one even came to get our drink order until almost 10/15 mins later. After that the service was fine.
