Went on a Monday and it was awesome. Drinks were a decent price ranging from a tower of beer for $15, $4 shots, and $3 Wells. (there was also some guy in the bar that bought the whole place 2 rounds of shots..lucky me!) Our waitress was very nice. The fact that she was concerned about our safety was genuinely how it should be. Lol I thought that was cute and awesome. We got our drinks and it all worked out. Awesome time. I plan on coming back to try these mud bug of theirs for around $4.99/lb. :)

Incredible mud bugs (aka crawfish). Probably the most spicy and flavorful that I've ever eaten! (Thumbs up!)

+cold beer
+gorgeous, competent, quick staff/service
+low prices
= a new fav on my weekly "to eat" list!

We experienced no wait during lunch. Our "bugs" were on the table within 2 minutes of placing our order.

Very diverse crowd. I would have felt comfortable bringing kids, a preacher, my grandmother, or a date.

Daily specials are very affordable for those on a budget.

I've only been here a few times and only because it's 5 minutes from my house. It's just an ordinary bar nothing special. They have the norm on the menu that you would find at any bar/restuarant joint. I did notice that they have pretty good drink specials on Sunday though for Sunday Funday. The crawfish was okay, didn't have much flavor. They were $4.99 a pound which is pretty reasonable. When we walked in most of the patrons we're sitting at the bar side so we opted to sit on the opposite side, there were about 4 waitresses just standing there watching us and no one even came to get our drink order until almost 10/15 mins later. After that the service was fine.

The best crawfish in town!

I ordered Crawfish togo. They have a huge sign flashing outside 4.99 a pound. Called in an order, got here and it's 5.99 a pound if its togo. What? ! Then they took another 15 minutes to get my order after I arrived. Wth? So not cool.
The crawfish were decent but I do not buy into the fact that packaging makes the crawfish a dollar a pound more! (The packaging was a plastic bag inside a beer carton)
Things like this will keep customers from ever going back- to go or dine in.

We are regulars on Tuesday nights for the wing special. My husband and I feel like they have the best wings in Houston and on tuesdays they are 25 wings for $10. All of their sauces are made in house, our favorites are the spicy garlic, garlic parmesean, and the teriyaki. Also their burgers on the jalapeno bun are out of this world! Best burger in the area.

2 Large mugs of beer on tap only for $10 (see photo). It's a great sports bar, great beer, and great service. I didn't eat here so I can't tell you how good the food is but the beer selection is great.

Love the atmosphere. Always a place to go for a night to hang out. This one tends to be a little busier than the one closer to our house.

Great place to drink, eat pretty decent pub food, and catch up with friend. Only downfall is the crowd. You never know if it's gonna be bikers, frat boys, normal fun having folks, greaseheads, or just complete WOW nerds. Watch out going to the bathroom, you might get hit with a dart. Why they put the dartboard right in the pathway of the bathroom (esp in a bar, you, know, breaking the seal and all), I have no idea.

And as a Louisiana girl living in Texas, I pretty much worship any place I can get crawfish. (Interesting side note, spell check does not recognize the word crawfish.) *smh

Complete kaos. Got to seat your self, couldn't find a clean table. All the waiters are dressed like customers..... Can't tell who's who. Our waiter (chantell) was great though. 8 pounds of crawfish was good too. A friend had the steak and eggs which looked horrible but he said it was alright. No sausage in the crawfish:(. I actually ate at the magnolia location so can not speak for the 242 location. Oh and the boodang balls were 4 out 5 stars. once we fought for a clean table the experience was chaotic but not a disaster. Would not eat here again although the food was alright.

I actually liked this place. I haven't been to many bars in Texas, so my perspective might be skewed...but, this place was cheap! $5 pitchers, lots of drink specials, and they had crawfish. Three of us ate & drank wayyy too much for less than $80 all-in.

This is definitely a sports bar, and has to be one of the best places in the area to watch a game. It is a smoking bar however, so that sucks; my lungs already take enough abuse from living in western PA.

I advise getting yourself a pitcher of Shiner Bock, a few lbs of crawfish, and gator bites; you can't go wrong with that combo.

I shouldn't review a restaurant based on its portions, but it's a bar with bar food. I actually see this as a cheaper Buffalo Wild Wings, with a little bit more personality. We got quick service and decent food. The nacho queso was a little bit salty, but I've encountered that since moving to Texas. We got some gator bites and the sauce was good. Overall, I'm not expecting fine Italian dining here, but I would come back.

Stopped by for lunch on Saturday, nice sports feel inside and plenty of bar space and enough TV's on the walls to serve the needs for a small country. The server, Whitney was great, upbeat and attentive. We asked for a soccer game to be put on a screen above the bar - no problem and even got a speaker box at the table to hear the commentary. We all decided on the tailgators house burger with fries. The burger was a half pound and cooked to order and was excellent among the best I have had. The fries were good but one portion could feed 4!! Price was good and the beer choice extensive. Overall a good place and excellent feel. Next time we will head back on a thurs or Friday evening and see how it holds up when busy.

This place was your typical dirty sports-bar with very fresh cold, delicious beer. The food portions were really big. No complaints, yet not too impressed at the same time.

I liked this place, went to watch a baseball game and grab dinner after a long day at work, tons of TV's to watch and they were really supportive of my team (hey, it never hurts, GO RANGERS!)

The food was just okay (it wasn't bad tasting, but something I ate there messed my stomach up for two days), but it just goes to show how much the service and atmosphere helps, that's what I liked about it. Will definitely go back for a game or two!

VERY disappointed!!! My wife got us a coupon from http://restaurant.com. Upon arrival, we were told that they do not honor this - however nothing was posted and they still are advertising on http://restaurant.com. Being a restaurant owner myself, I have always honored such coupons or deals, even if it was 'my' error as the owner! I can guarantee I will not be going back and will let others know of their business practice!

Beer, bugs, and babes.

I'm not sure which was hotter, the Buffalo sauce for my crawfish or the waitresses, but both were good. Crawfish - if you've never had them or haven't in a while, at first glance it seems like a waste of time; all that work for a little tail. Sounds like something I said once when leaving a Thai bar in Phuket - tmi. But if you look at eating crawfish like watching baseball, a pastime that's best enjoyed with beer, great conversation with friends, and good looking, friendly wait staff, Tailgators will do you right. As a super bonus I don't believe they allow smoking inside as there were no ashtrays on tables or the bar counter and nobody smoking. Everybody knows "friends don't let friends drink Fat Tire with filters."
