Molly's Pub

You never have to guess what you're going to get when it comes to Molly's.  As with most Montgomery County establishments, this place is smokey on the inside, but if that bothers you, you can always head out to the patio.  The view of the I-45 feeder is nothing special, but it gets the job done.  Even back in the days when I didn't drink beer, this place always makes me feel like having one.  To that end, I have no idea how they pour a mixed drink, but my guess is heavy on the liquor.  The crawfish in the spring are not the best and not the worst, but they are quite inexpensive just like everything else at Molly's.  

In a word, Molly's isn't much to write home about, but as a neighborhood standby it's quite alright by me.

loud music and overpriced ($4.25 for a bottle of shiner). friendly bartenders, though.

The food sucks, but they have a nice beer selection, and a nice patio, and convenient location.
