Crush Wine Lounge

I am done giving this place anymore chances!  If you don't read all that I have to say, at least get that the MANAGER upstairs (blond woman) shoves her patrons around like cattle.  But i'll address that at the end.

Wine bar: Second level, is of course expensive, but the furniture is uncomfortable and falling apart.  They didn't have our first two wine choices so it's like we're on a treasure hunt. . . or they are trying to up sell you.  We didn't enjoy any mixed drinks because we were there for wine.

Rooftop:  Um, yea, there is no wine.  AND the drinks are expensive for the quality drinks you are getting and the bartenders are so, so very rude.  Here are some of the many problems -
Right when you walk in (on a weekend night when it's full of people thinking they are going to dance at a night club) you hit the bar line....which is long.  The actual bar part is very small and crowded, so be ready to wait for a LONG time.  My husband is forced to order us doubles in a tall glass just so we don't have to go back in line very soon.  When you get your drinks, they are awful and expensive and the bartenders again are very rude.  

Right beside the long bar line, is the cash bar line, so there is just a ton of people just standing around waiting.  If you get through all that, you get to the restroom line.  Yep.  ONE restroom, gas station style-disgusting.  ONE restroom for both guys and girls, so ladies you have to deal with drunken piss allover the place.  And never mind how dirty it always is, because no one goes through to clean it since there is a constant line for it.  ALSO, this restroom is steps away from the DJ/ and dance "floor", so get used to the smell.

There are some seating around the area so the actual place to dance is very small.  Most of the rooftop is taken up by these private area tents and seats for parties who have rented them. . . and they are often empty because they charge a ton to get them.  So they would rather have there regulars crowded around and these spots empty then to open them up.  I have heard they are $800 to $1200 for these tented areas.

Crowded and Texas weather to contend with.  Wonderful.  Think. . lots of gross, muggy sweat.  Not sexy.

What really did it for us this time was last Saturday night, we were walking toward the bar (again by the front door) when this woman comes barreling through my friend and the person in front of her, so she straight up shoved my friend over.  My friend put her arm up and pushed back a little so that she didn't fall back.  The woman whips around with her mouth open. I thought she was going to hit my friend, so I put my arm up between them and said "hey!".  The woman shoves my arms aside and says something to the bouncers and took off out the front door.  The bouncers then told US to leave!  ( If you knew us or could see us, this would be very funny)  

We were so confused and asked why.  This woman shoves us and WE'RE asked to leave???  We asked who is that woman... where she can treat people like that?? and these two guys are so quick to ask us to leave when we did nothing. . .they didn't wanna say!  Finally, they fessed up. . .they said that woman was the MANAGER!!!  

Wow. . .to have the manager of the bar, shoving people around like they are cattle and she is just SO important, I guess. . . i don't think so.  That place needs some serious help.  No wonder the bartenders are so rude if this blond woman is there manager!  but I'm sure they are on there way out of the Woodlands.  There is so many other nicer choices right around there...Who treat their patrons with RESPECT.

If you've never been, you are not missing anything.  Go somewhere else.

What a waste of an awesome roof top!  

They charge big bucks ( someone said $ 1200 but I haven't verified) to reserve a table up there & what's so funny is there's never anyone sitting at their tables.  

Additionally it's impossible to chill due to the extremely loud Latin Hip Hop blasting 24 X 7.  Not sure if they play it all the time but they do on Thursdays & Saturdays.  

This review only pertains to roof top.  FYI the downstairs is chilled w a nice atmosphere.

Horrible service at the bar. Was ignored with only a couple people at the bar. When we had to flag her done to put in a order she mumbles "uh I hate people" really! Then find a new job. Horrible.
