What other bar in Boise would give away bacon during Happy Hour on Fridays? Can you really call it "happy hour" without bacon? Discuss and ponder. That's what I thought. That reminds me, the Eastside doesn't serve food, but there's a DQ, Starbucks and Thai restaurant just steps away. We've also had pizza delivered there. Â I started going to the Eastside a couple months after the 2010 grand reopening - mostly on karaoke Tuesday nights (also a regular for trivia Wednesdays) - and soon formed new friendships, and renewed a few old ones. You'd be hard-pressed to come up with a drink order the bartenders can't fill - unless you need something with coffee or Dr. Pepper. The beer selection is pretty good, with some seasonals rotating in and out of the lineup. You'll really like the staff, unless you're looking to start trouble.
Review Source:The Eastside recently re-opened under new ownership - and we're sooooo glad they're back! Â It's a clean, smoker-friendly neighborhood bar with pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, a couple video games (Golden Tee and a hunting game) and beer pong!!
16oz Rolling Rocks and PBRs are $2 all the time - so that's my drink of choice, though they do have different drink/shot specials daily. Â If you're a karaoke fan, check out Tuesday nights after 9pm - Marty (Almost Famous) has a huge song catalog and runs a good show!
If you're in the neighborhood, stop by!
EDIT - Okay, it's been a little over a year since the grand re-opening, and this is our go-to spot. Â Love the staff and the regulars, and it's close to home. Â Can't get much better than that!
