My grandmother was from Kilkenny so when I saw that they had a Kilkenny Irish beer on tap I had to drink to toast to Bridgette. Slainte!
The waiter/bartender was very friendly and looked after our needs while not getting in the way of a nice casual lunch. Â
The Fish Bite appetizers are a must. Â Tempura battered cod, light, cooked perfectly and fresh.
I had the Irish Stew on a hot day which doesn't seem to make sense but it was perfect. Â Very nice seasoning. Â We enjoyed this spot very much. Â It was very quiet when we were there, but understand it picks up around 3 for the happy hour.
First half hour, got a beer for one member of a party of two.
Next fifteen minutes, still can't get a water.
After 45 minutes we threw down a five and like many others went to solid where they can actually serve food.
I don't know why there is a front of house manager and then they don't get more wait staff.
I've been here several times and it is always pretty awful.
Fish and Chips were not good, primarily due to the over frying of the fish in 2 week old dark oil. Â The chips were burnt. Â My wife's corn beef sandwich was also greasy, she just scooped out the corn beef chunks, tolerable. Â If I didn't have another Groupon I wouldn't be back. Â The staff was nice is the only positive.
