El Ranchito

Food took FOREVER to arrive, and when it did, one entree was totally inedible (the fajita dinner smelled like they had pulled it out of a dumpster, from other reviews this seems to be a common thing) and the other entree (chili rellenos) was mediocre.  The dessert we ordered was missing altogether.  All around bad experience.  We will never order from this place again.

Ordered food at 12:50 am was told it would be here at 2:15 am. Way to long for a restaurant a mile away from me at that time.
When my food arrives it was 2:45 am. The restaurant closes at 2 am. Not like it was their rush hour.
****Driver pulled up to my house honking his horn. Again at 2:45 AM!!
Then waited for me on my steps which required me to go outside since I have along front porch.

Guacamole tasted like plain avocado. Chips were clearly store bought. Cilantro on tacos was bad. Had to scrape it all off. Paid extra for sour cream, didn't get it. Horchata tasted funky, like it had gone bad. Could not even drink it. And Flan had a funky film on it. If the restaurant had still been open. I would have taken it back!

Only good part was the free delivery for ordering 20 bucks worth of food!
NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

I love the daytime waitress and who can beat a $2 Margarita on a Friday afternoon? I can't imagine why anyone who love authentic Mexican wouldn't adore this place. It has a loud night club scene which I avoid but all the food I've had and my dozens of guests has been amazing.
