There's many fast Eddie's in that area but Is say this one is okay not the excellent one nor the poorly made. Management is great but I believe the environment here is too risky... As well everybody starts to mean mug you for no apparent reason, and make sure if you do end up going to the sports bar you cannot go with a tank top they will kick you out or do they will not allow you in and even if it is the humidity is stickiest ugly warm weather out here in Virginia.

Just to show you how infrequent I visit sports bars, it had been quite a few years since I had visited Fast Eddies - since it opened years back!  A buddy and I just went there to shoot the breeze and enjoy some Beer & junk food.  I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, attentiveness and comfort level not usually associated with this type of saloon!  Plenty of clean, nicely kept pool tables, dart throwing areas, tables and chairs, high bar tables and a very nice saloon bar, satisfying service and attention by the servers/bartenders.  Beers were ice cold and the poppers and wings were pretty darn good.  I kinda' prefer Eddies to Hard Times!  Next time we come, I'm bringing my cue stick!

We ended up here one night when we wanted to play some pool.  I frequent the Fast Eddies in Centerville because one of my friend's Band plays there a lot (Shout out to SoHo Down)  Was expecting a similar experience but no dice.  This bar is smaller, cheesier and only average in their pricing.  However, they do have a ton of pool tables so we've never had a problem getting a table and it is less than 5 minutes from where my boyfriend lives so I am sure we'll be back.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this place has the best Steak and Cheese in all of Springfield.   Unless you like Jerry's subs and Pizzas.   It's better than Marino's, it's better than Malek's.   They're drinks are slightly overpriced except at happy hour. I don't shoot pool much but they have plenty of tables.   I don't smoke, but this place is a smokers paradise.  So, yeah, the steak and cheese is that good here.

The people who work here are great. They remember you and they are all really friendly which is great. The food here is decent at best though. They don't do anything top tier or anything to die for that you can't get elsewhere made even better so food-wise it's okay. Playing pool and drinking is good here though.

    This place is very good.

The pitchers are a little high in price, but it is a very big sized pitcher.

There was a lot of fun times on Saturday night and my friends and I did karaoke and drank some beer. The beer was good and the waitress gave us excellent service. I'll be back to enjoy this place again.

This place is never same whenever I go there, which is a good thing. They tend to have a lot of regulars which is a clue that the staff is nice and fun. Kareoke night they have music playing so loud you can't even hear yourself sing, but it is still a lot of fun. Drink prices were reasonable and I don't have any complaints on their food. They have a chill happy hour if you are looking to relax.

Went there 4th of July since it was one of the few places open and all we really wanted was some hair of dog to cure our emerging hangovers.

    1) Took forever for the server, Angelica, to get to us.
    2) They only had a Tabasco mix for bloody marys.  UGH.
    3) No champagne for mimosas.
    4) Ended up getting a vodka drink-- the server didn't even use rail.  I didn't ask for top shelf.  I just wanted a freaking drink.  Rail would have MORE than sufficed.
    5) We ordered our food.  Again, took forever for her to even come back with our drinks.  We ordered 4 different things plus an appetizer sampler, on the hopes that even if we couldn't eat our own without throwing up, we could at least nibble on the others.
-She shows up with our food before the appetizer.
-She blamed the kitchen on completely bringing the wrong food item to us.
-She then shows up with the food 25 minutes later, WITH our appetizer.
    6) We ask for our check.  Takes 20 minutes to get them.
    7) We then have to go FIND the server.  Turns out she's sitting at the bar.

All in all-- food was crappy, service was crappier.  I won't be going back to this location, even though I love the Fairfax Fast Eddie's.

Their drinks are not the greatest, but they are drinkable. The establishment is very loud and smokey. The mechanical bull is fun, though, and a nice touch. I did a live show there and was not impressed with the sound guy whatsoever. While the bar has decent sound equipment, it does not seem to have someone who knows how to work it and listen to levels.

The past few months this place has been a go to place for my husband and I . There always seems to be something going on. They host team pool tournaments, darts tournaments, and poker games --- depending on what day of the week it is. Dont let me fool ya though, even with stuff going on it seems like a small town type of bar with a relaxed vibe.

Since we have been going the staff has gotten use to us. They are all very friendly. One of the bar tenders (Jordon) is not only nice to look at but is also very nice in general. The wait staff is super friendly and on point with keeping your glass full, (tip them well, they really deserve it). Tv screens all above the bar for some sports viewing, and if you get a chance, eat the hot wings.

    The Negative ---
While they do have a jukebox, the selection could be better.  There's your traditional go to drunk songs, a few number ones, and country. Also, being a fan of Long Islands, I learned quickly they arnt always cheap. Here they will run you $10 a piece.

Overall, I'll continue to be a loyal customer :)

My boyfriend and I live close and we were looking for a regular Monday night hang-out. He likes playing the NTN Poker and I like trivia. We started going each Monday night for their half price burgers.

It started out ok. My bf is a smoker so the smoking is not a problem, but a word to the wise: the non-smoking area is the size of a postage stamp and the entire rest of the bar and pool area is all smoking.

To get decent service, you've got to sit at the bar... and even then, you can be ignored if it's close to a shift change. The low tables next to the bar are served by harried waitresses who also serve the patrons at the pool tables and you're easily forgotten.

The regulars who play pool are a noisy lot who rudely yell out the answers to the trivia questions... so much for competition. And unlike another reviewer, in the 2+ months we tried making Fast Eddie's a hangout, we were never welcomed by this group of rowdy over 50 bar flies.

The burgers were pretty good. But I can get a good burger anywhere.

What was the last straw was the poor service by the waitstaff and bartenders. Once, when we brought an out of town friend along with us, one of the bartenders even insulted our friend's choice of beer, saying that our friend must have college tastes in beer. (Then why serve it??) The waitstaff are clueless and appear to be the bottom-feeders of the waitstaff world. They're inattentive, condescending, and rude.

If you're in the area and want a good burger, there's another sports bar in the same complex. If you want NTN, there are other options as well.

This Fast Eddies needs an attitude adjustment.

Was not familiar with this place but a couple friends wanted to shoot some pool so we stopped in towards the end of 2010.

Was surprised to see the place allowed smoking as I thought that all bars were non-smoking in Virginia - am highly allergic to smoke so this is a place I won't be going back to.  My health is way too important to go in there - but if you smoke and want to do it inside - this is your place.

Didn't stay in there due to the smoke so I can't rate it on anything else.

I played in a pool league, and even though I smoked, the air was horrible in there.  I also had my car window busted out while there.  The manager notified me via loud speaker which was nice, but he didnt even ask if I needed anything or offer to comp a meal, considering I was in his estalishment every week spending money.  They also need another waitress during happy hour and pool league.   1 beer would have to last hours.

I like this place. They have lots and lots of pool tables and dart boards to play. A nice size bar and a few other games. Thursdays is poker night and there are a lot more people there. To play poker is free and it's not with real money! However, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners do get little prizes, such as gift certificates to the restaurant. Game times are 7pm and 10pm. The happy hour here is great! $0.89 cents beer, cheap wings (maybe $0.25?) and a $5 menu that includes individual size pizzas. At least that is what it is on a Thursday. Try to get Sharon as your server if you are not playing poker. She is friendly, very quick and NEVER gets your order wrong. Apart from Sharon, I've only every had the bartender, and she is also very nice.

Be careful on Saturdays. If they are showing a fight, they charge a cover, which is silly since the neighboring bars do not.

Not much of a pool player either, but ... if NTN Trivia is you game - this is the place! There are lots of 'regulars' in the Trivia group and they are a friendly lot. They will welcome you over to play with them, but it's also okay if you don't care for that style of playing.

Lot's of big screen TV's and during football season, the TVs are usually labeled and the BIG game of the day is piped through the sound system.

For music - they have one of those Touch-Tunes jukeboxes with a wide variety of styles and eras.  The nightime croud tends to play more modern where as the happyhour group seems more into the oldie, clasic rock and country tunes.

Eddie's has happy hour - EVERY day of the week from 3-8pm, including the weekends. Some of their appetizers are 1/2 price, along with a "Pizza of the Day" special.

Their bar foood is so-so ... not alot of variety.  Now, they do have a spicy chicken wrap sandwich that is SUPER YUMMY!! The bartenders seem friendly and cheerful.

I'm not much of a pool shark or darts player, but I'd imagine if you enjoyed either you'd love this place. Plenty of pool tables with ample space to spread out, a wall of dart boards and the usual set of arcade games to keep bar patrons happy.

Since my best friends younger brother is a bouncer here and it was his night off, we knew we'd get to drink on the cheap. It's been a while since I've drank things with odd names like Tic Tacs and Da Alligator (and that Yagermeister and Sambuca shot which name escapes me, but will haunt me for awhile) ... it was a good thing most of it was free. Luckily, the also have a good selection of draft beers too. An added bonus was the size of the bar -- BIG. And plenty of flat screens spread around to oogle.

Of course, they also serve food here, and we sampled the pizza. Shocker -- nothing to write home about, and I doubt any of the other items on the menu would be a standout. But for bar food, good enough.
