Five Spice Seafood + Wine Bar

Squid was tasty and crap cakes were worth the price. The atmosphere is great with nice outside dining options.

We ate there tonight. Great food! Great service! Great ambience! They have an adequate wine list but we wanted to bring our own special bottle. We were appalled with the  $25 corkage fee . Even higher end restaurants don't charge that much.

I've taken groups, clients, other couples, family and I've learned Five Spice Seafood is consistently inconsistant.  Food isn't bad, that being said I don't think the'd want Gordon Ramsey coming in.

What's most frustrating is the front of the house staff and PORTION SIZE, It seems there is not leadership present, the hostesses are clueless, though the waiting staff is usually on point.  And 5 pieces of battered shrimp costing $13.00.  that's well over 7x food costs.   Regardless if i can afford it, there shrimp were frozen NOT fresh!!

Be ready to be handed an iPad, the waitstaff knows nothing on the list, and as "sheik" as an iPad sounds the wine app is pretty cumbersome.
