I was there the night of comedy with the belligerent customer who was allowed to stay. I'd been there other comedy nights where other patrons were loudly and rudely talking during sets with no assistance from the very inatrentive bar staff but whatever. I was there for my friends. Then THAT NIGHT happened. What an ugly display of humanity, exacerbated by the employees. How unfortunate your "regular" was given more consideration than the folks actually bringing in guests that night. If these are the type of people you prefer patronize your pretty crappy bar, then you deserve them. Bitter Republicans...you can HAVE your bar!
Review Source:So I was at the open mic here tonight, and am disgusted by both a customer's action, and the establishment's handling of it. A drunk douche was being a real cretin, hitting on all the girls and being loud during the sets and he starts shouting at the comics and the performer onstage using racial and homophobic slurs as bad as they get. Even crazier stuff calling us "wealth distributing liberals". He threw a punch at a comic. Apparently he's a regular, so instead of being immediately kicked out, they coddled him and he hung around for a good 20 minutes. After he was ejected with an even more disgusting verbal tirade, the staff apologized with the shocking, "Don't worry, he won't be allowed here on THURSDAYS anymore!" How about he won't be allowed back EVER? Great way to stick up for your customers and comics that are giving you free entertainment. I loved doing comedy there, but I won't be back ever.
