Great place to eat if you're at Old Orchard. Â Food is delicious, fast and healthy. Â I usually get the chicken salad and often have some special requests that they are happy to accommodate. Â Guacamole, chips and salsas are delicious. Â They are kid friendly too with plenty of highchairs. Â Only complaint is that it's sometimes too crowded and there isn't enough seating. Â Apparently other people also like this place :). Â
Great for a meal at the mall but probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if I weren't going to OO for something anyway.
4 months after Frontera Fresco opens at my school, my first experience ends up being at old orchard mall. We remembered there was one at the mall, then decided we weren't gonna go look for it, then walked right past it about 30 seconds later - must have meant to be!
There's both a door from the mall and an entrance next to some men's clothes from inside Macy's. It feels a little weird eating food next to clothes being sold... and it's just glass separating the two ... a little awkward?
The food was not very memorable. And kind of expensive. I forgot to review it because I didn't know what I thought of the place. Â Now 2 weeks later, I don't remember what I ate. Not a good sign. We tried the steak and chorizo tacos and one of the aguas fescas (really sour). Nothing really stood out, to be honest. I enjoyed xoco a lot more.
Maybe I'll try a torta next time I'm at a Frontera Fresco. Nice to have this right at the mall though. Can't see myself shopping often, but I'll probably still stop by for a (almost FIVE DOLLAR) taco if I do.
