  After reading Kevin's review I was soooo excited. He said they were take out and delivery!!!! My heart soared!! We are in Indy for a volleyball tournament and after flying all day we just want to relax and eat some yummy food. Well I was so disappointed that they do not deliver downtown. Oh well. There are 800 teams in the DT area. It could have been an awesome weekend for them.  Haven't tried it and don't want to wreck their rating so only 4 stars.

  I ordered my first pizza ever from Gallagher's tonight.  It was a "Deluxe" pizza (which comes with about 7 toppings), XL size.  It was $26.80 with tax  The pizza was simply OUTSTANDING.  I always make a point of getting a pizza from the top pizza places on Yelp whenever I travel - from NY to Hawaii, from Florida to Chicago... and I can say that based on my experience as a pizza connoisseur , Gallagher's is one of the best in the US.  This is actually my first 5 star review for any restaurant on Yelp!
  
  The crust was fresh, the vegetable toppings still fresh and flavorful (not rubbery and salty like when they're overcooked), the pizza blend has a zest to it that draws out the flavor of all the other ingredients in the pizza.  I know there must be cheddar in that cheese blend - you can taste that "bite" of it - and mmmm is it good!
  
  The other thing that was great about the pizza was its size.  The box was surprisingly heavy - probably over 6 lbs - when I picked it up off the counter.  When I bit into the pizza, you could see there was layer after layer of toppings, all covered in a really thick layer of melted cheese.  The value, at $26.80, is remarkable.  A single XL pizza from this place could easily feed 5-6 very hungry people with a few slices left over.  Thankfully they cut the pizza into rectangular slices so it goes a bit further, too.
  
  The shop has no in-restaurant dining, though there are two picnic tables set up in the front parking lot, blocked off from traffic with some concrete curbs.  The lack of in-store dining is not a big deal - I had mine ordered for carry out anyway.  The restaurant also offers delivery, though not to my area.
  
  Even though it's about a 30 minute drive to this place from home, I can tell you, I'll be back!!!
