Fun Irish pub
This irish pub has the right feel to it. There's plenty of seating inside as well as outside on the patio. A gf and I came here for dinner and we were seating right away. Our server was very patient with us, we took forever to order since we were busy catching up. I had the marinated chicken salad which was so good with the raspberry viniagrette dressing, topped with crispy wontons which was perfect. My friend had some sort of wrap and she enjoyed it very much.
Galway arms is a respite from big city living. Upon walking through the door of this quaint and original Irish pub, any perturbations from a long day are soon forgotten. After a few cool Guinness by the fireplace its easy to forget that outside a harsh Chicago winter awaits. The owner, and much of the staff, add the the atmosphere as they are from the home of Guinness- Dublin. Barry pours a near perfect pint and does a fine job of never letting me see the bottom of my glass. Drink up Chicago.
Review Source:Stumbled into this bar on a cold walk back from dinner a few nights ago. We got a table right away which was nice. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. The drinks were cheap ($5 on Friday nights for hot cocktails).
To me it's a good everyday bar or if you're looking to have a fun night without going somewhere lounge-y or dance-y. I will definitely frequent this place again!
Yay! I'm a fan is right! Â I have been coming here since I was a kid with my father and it is the closest to somewhat authentic Irish at a restaurant possible, and then they started selling wings...The food & menu were completely different from what I remember, but maybe that is because my father just ordered for me. Â Who knows. Â What I do know is that I love day drinking that this facility that caters to over-served clientele on a regular basis. Â
**Best place to go after a cold Cubs game for warm alcoholic drinks so you can cry that your team stinks ;)
If you come for dinner, get the corned beef and cabbage. JUST DO IT. It's so good. also a ton of food. Comes with mashed parsnips too (which is kinda like mashed potatoes...)
The lamb stew and shepherds pie are also both quite delicious. I've had the guinness beef stew as well, which was good but not exceptional.
I really like Galway, very cozy, good food with usually a good selection of beer on tap. If you come to eat with a big group be aware that I think they'll only split the bill between 2 credit cards.
Horrible experience. We came here in a group after calling ahead. My friend left them several messages providing them with the number of people to expect and the date and time that we would be there. When we got there not only were they unprepared, Â but they were downright rude to the group. We ordered a quick round of drinks and after being there only 10 minutes decided to head out and not waste any more time or money on this place.
I'm sad it didn't work out with Galway Arms because it seemed like a cool place. Maybe a summer trip, when the patio is open is in order. Hopefully they can redeem themselves then!
Sunday day drinking here is like awesome. Bitchy waitress, not so much. Just quit your job already, yes? I've passed this place a couple times in the summer and thought it looked chill compared to its neighbors and thought I'd check it out on a fall day finally. They have a really nice list of hot alcoholic beverages. I love me some hot adult beverages. Too bad it can sometimes not be hot enough as the waitress told us that the water gets preheated and that's it. No made to order business or reheating which is kinda BS. Nothing sucks more than a warm beverage about to turn cold in the next 5 minutes. Their menu looked awesome with a lot of hearty choices. Their curry fries is pretty solid, as is their battered up onion rings and Shepard's pie. Plus live irish music sunday nights! so festive.
Lincoln park can be fun after all.
We spent our New Years Eve there it was not planned. Â We had the best time, we had dinner, I'm a vegetarian and they had great options. Â The food and drinks were very good, the ambiance was great, but their customer service was awesome. Â Our waitress was Katie and even thought she was crazy busy with New Years Eve and all she was very attentive and courteous. We were very happy with everything!
Review Source:After leaving the terribly intolerant Raven's (see my review), we moved our group of 25 down the block to Galway Arms, where my friend's MCAS (Mexican ID card) was accepted with an appropriate "gracias" from the doorman.
The room towards the front has a working fireplace, lots of seating, and window out to the patio area; this was a perfect spot for a group of our size. Intimate and cozy, we let the booze flow along with the conversations like we were on a winter cabin retreat.
Hot alcoholic beverages are on special for $5 (from $7) on Friday nights.
A friendly bar patron recommended a Redbreast 12-year whiskey shot: smoothest shot I've taken in a while with the best aftertaste ever.
Highly recommended for large groups.
Sequels are never as good as the original.
For those on mobile unable to see the original golden pearls of wisdom and wit I set forth I will recap. We've had the buffalo wings which were good and the chicken pot pie which was said to be one of their best dishes. It was cubed chicken in broth with mashed potatoes, peas, carrots in a bowl with a puff pastry on top. It wasn't that impressive. The chocolate martini was good.
The atmosphere is odd. A huge patio, with various alcoves that reminded me of a converted flat or rabbit warren. A bar room, dining room, and fireplace room, and bathrooms in the basement. We chose to sit in the fireplace room by the fire since we were cold. Quaint.
There was a weird random moment when an elderly and very stately couple were sat next to us in the fireplace room. Ordered one cup of coffee without looking at the menu. Talked on their phone. Then got up to be moved to the dining room scanned it (and the people inside) then abruptly left the restaurant.
We ordered:
A delicious Irish coffee with a flavored liquor.
Daisy Cutters
The Guinness Beef Stew.
Snoresville. It was bland and lacked seasoning. $14 for something tasting canned is Willy Wonka talk.
The 1/2 rib special with garlic potatoes and cole slaw.
The shining star for us. The sauce wasn't too sweet and meat was tender, but had a decent amount of bark. The potatoes were alright.
The service was really good.
The price points for what you get...beers, cocktails, and food with the geographic location are CRINGE-worthy. My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw the check. I know it's placed conveniently for those in the area and the decor is cute but let's not get crazy or anything.
It was much better going to Galway Arms with the ex-boyfriend vs. coming here by myself while waiting to hear back from someone I was trying to donate a turkey to! Â lol...
5 stars the first time I came here
3 stars the second time I came here
This might be a place better for groups, with your boyfriend or if you're a regular.
Great place to gather a group or to just a cozy, cute date night where you don't have to completely dress up and wear heals. The Irish culture brings you in with a huge beer list and tasty dishes. Packed and crowded for a Saturday night but we got a seat in the closed in dining hall after a large party left.
We unfortunately got a waitress who didn't want to serve us 6 girls. She acted like we were snooty, even though we were super friendly and ready to have a good time. I saw that it said "Tables of 6 and more have 18% gratuity and please ask server for separate checks before ordering" in really tiny font on the bottom of the menu. I asked  for it after we all went around getting beers. She was upset by it and didn't say anything and walked off. It took her forever to get our drinks and even seconds on them and she hardly came around asking how we were doing.
Food was delicious and served in large portions. Between burgers and sandwiches, everyone enjoyed their meals!
A nice spot on Clark in the Lincoln Park area and I will come back again. Just hoping I don't get stuck with a bitter waitress. There is a difference between a server having a hard day or being quiet, or a server who seems to be purposely annoyed with us.
Will go back though sometime.
I came out with friends on a rainy Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that our group had our own private room with a fireplace. Nice place for some drinking and catching up with friends. The food was good especially those curry fries and the beer selection was fantastic. The Pumpking was great. What's great about this place is that after 8 pm on Sundays, live Irish music. Definitely planning to come back again soon!
Review Source:I was brought here by a friend that decided to have a gathering on a rainy Sunday afternoon, which is usually a good time to do the damn drinking thang. I always see peeps enjoying the outside patio, but that was a no can do as we are in the Fall season and not to mention it was pouring down outside.
I walked in and my group had what seemed to be a special gatherings room...lol. We had the whole room to ourselves and it even came with a fireplace and a nice little view of Clark Street.
The first thing I ordered was the Pumpking beer. It was pretty good, but I like Blue Moon's Pumpkin Ale a little better. My next drink was the Butterscotch Coco which was very warm, sweet and addictive....I decided not to have a second because I would have kept going and going. Some of my peeps ordered the curry fries...I had a taste of them and they were phenominal. Definitely coming back for those.
The waitress Kim was very nice, but at times seemed a little irritated. She also never took the time to walk some of my peeps through the menu when they had questions on certain beer or other things...her respnse seemed to be "check the menu". She did let me know the Pumking was good though.
I don't know about anyone else, but I can't think of a better way to spend a windy, rainy, dreary, "oh noes, there's a tornado watch!" day than at a bar. And if you happen to be in the Lincoln Park area, there's not too many places better than the Galway Arms, in my humble opinion. For the fleeting moments that I spent in this pub, I nearly forgot what neighborhood I was in...and I mean that in the best way possible. Great ambiance, yummy curry chips, and a nice selection of libations. I stuck mostly to beers and wasn't disappointed. I'll have to try the hot drinks next time.
If you're there on a Sunday, make sure you stick around after 8pm for the live music. Very energetic!
Oh, and I need the Pumking beer in candle form, stat. It smells just that amazing.
Nothing better than having your own little room with fireplace in a cozy bar when the weather department has issued a tornado watch on a Sunday afternoon.
Galway Arms is a nice pub and all (and they have live Irish music on Sunday night!!!) but the real purpose of this review is seasonal, liquid and hoppy.
Its name? PUMPKING.
Best pumpkin beer ever.
Southern Tier Brewing Company, 8.6%, 12 ounces. On tap.
Tastes like a slice of pie with whipping cream but in the most delicious way possible. Not overtly sweet or spicy, you really taste the richness of the pumpkin with hints of vanilla, nutmeg and caramel.
A must try.
Oh, and the curry chips are a tasty incentive, too.
Right around the corner from our Chicago condo, we've frequented Galway Arms for years. The staff doesn't have much turnover and the owner can frequently be found reviewing business reports quietly at the bar with a Guinness. Smithwicks on tap, live Irish music which frequently errupts into a party complete with Irish dancers. We love Galway Arms. It's a refreshing rival to Mickey's with a elevated patio and real food. One sunday, we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner (and many Smithwicks) here and stayed for the music.
Review Source:Stopped in for a quick drink and snack out on the deck on a HOT Sunday afternoon. Interesting beer and drink selections. Got the crab cakes and quesadilla appetizers and both were tasty. The best part was the waitress with the Irish accent. She had an interesting perspective on ordering a "shandy", and, oh, did I mention that she had an Irish accent? I'd strongly recommend this place for interesting beer and drink selections, tasty appetizers and Irish accents.
Review Source:I really like the old world, European feeling of this place, and it's pretty cool that like half of the people who work there have Irish accets. Â If these real or fake, I don't really care. Â I've never tried their food but the menu appears to go above and beyond your typical bar fare. Â I have to say though, the service is not great. Â The last time I was here the servers completely ignored us for a good 20 minutes and I had to go up to the bar to orer, despite being seated at a table by the hostess. Â Not cool, Galway!
Review Source:It's winter in Chicago again, and that means finding indoor entertainment. Galway Arms works for that.
I'm going to be honest and say that I have never liked the food there. I usually order this cheese plate thing to avoid eating everything else. But my hubby says I am as big a food snob as they come, so take my views on food with that in mind.
So, how do I manage to give this place 4 stars? Simple, I like their beer selection, their mixed drinks, their single malts and the atmosphere. This is a Sunday Funday kind of hangout for us. Live music in the evening and decent people. Low on douches.
Who in the right mind would ever say this place has good food? Â The food is 1 star worthy if it wasn't for the attentive waitress we had for a group of 13.
Had the veggie buger with cold fries. Asked the waitress for fresh ones n came out right away with them, but these have to be the most boring non seasoned thick fries known to man. Which it doesn't help that they skimp on ketchup n don't serve bottles to tables but a Lil mini cup which was barely enough for my burger! Â Which was highly recommended from the waitress. It was dry, almost tasteless, just as much as the red pepper spread they gave. On to the bun it was too thick that it was taking away the flavor/taste of everything! Â Tried my friends meat burger, lamb shank, n the mozz sticks a well. Everything came up flat.
Irish are not known for their cuisine n this place obviously shows that. Stick to the booze here the Irish can't screw that up! :-)
For me, the Galway Arms is all about the music.  Irish traditional music, that is.  The Sunday night seisún, running from 9-11PM, give or take, has become over the last several years, one of the best places to hear really well performed tunes and songs by some of the greatest trad musicians in Chicago.  Paddy Homan, Jimmy Keane, Maurice Lennon, Dennis Cahill, John Williams, Sean Cleland, Jesse Langan and any number of other greats show up here regularly, often together.  And there's no cover.  Brilliant!
That being said, the layout of the Galway Arms is frustrating. Â The place always seems cramped and crowded, and the warren of small rooms and oddly placed walls makes for awkward sightlines. Â But the small roomlets can be cozy for other times, when you aren't straining to see/hear the music. Â There's a huge outdoor patio out front, plus a small dining room, then an odd little room off the front door with high tables and TVs (which I seem to get stuck in most of the time), an upstairs party room (which I've never been in) and finally the main bar: an L-shaped affair with an area at the short end of the L where the musicians sit and play. Â There are very few great vantage points to sit and enjoy the music.
They have a full bar of beer, wine and mixed drinks, though I never seem to get beyond their well poured pints of Guinness or the occasional Magner's hard apple cider. They have a number of Irish and American dishes, though again, I guess I'm a creature of habit, usually order the excellent fish & chips with malt vinegar (about $11). Â In a concession to us Yanks, there is often tartar sauce for the fish and ketchup for the fries on the side, which I usually just ignore. Â They are served with green peas and lettuce, which is nice, but not something I've ever seen in Ireland, where salad tends to be an exotic addition.
Tonight, I wanted something a bit lighter, so I ordered the Irish cheese plate: strips of several types of Irish cheese arrayed on a plate with brown bread and raisins for $5.95. Â It was a nice change of pace, though I would have preferred something like apple or pear wedges to the grainy peach "chutney" that came with it. Â I accompanied the snack with 2 pints of Guinness, $6 each. Â My excellent and always-smiling server, Katie, was attentive without being pushy--she knows I'm there more to listen than drink and doesn't make a big deal out of me sipping my stouts S-L-O-W-L-Y. Â The bartender, Barry, is a bit of a character, but don't be put off if he seems momentarily gruff--he's OK at heart (I think).
Awesome food, decent drinks. Â
But to be specific, Irish food is fairly authentic and service is pretty good. Â My only complaint is their ridiculous prices. Â Though i suppose Lincoln Park is a hot spot for dining. Â
Recommend Corned beef with cabbage (ew cabbage, but this is actually pretty solid). Â
Treat yourself to a unique ireland beer as well.
Overall a decent staple in the LP community.
Somehow, 27 years ago, the wiring of the grand scheme of life, the universe, and everything else got crossed, and I was born in the United States instead of Ireland, where a good portion of my family still is. Life has been dreadful these past nearly three decades trying to find the place where I fit in--displaced Irish-American, alien in my homeland. That is, until I wandered into The Galway Arms.
I initially came here when I learned that, every Sunday night, the Arms features an Irish session band (led by Cork's favourite son, Paddy Homan). Although I just wanted to listen to some live traditional music from the old country, I was invited to bring my guitar the next week. And the next week. And the next week.
Within a month or so, even though I was only showing up on Sunday nights for a couple of hours to play one song and drink some Guinness, employees there (like Katie, my regular waitress, and Barry, the bartender extraordinaire and pride of Galway) and myself came to know each other on a first name basis.
But let's get down to brass tacks--what's this place all about?
Amazing food--I don't even know where to start with my dinner recommendations. I've tried just about everything and it all's incredible. Off the top of my head, I'd have to say their grilled chicken sandwich, veggie burger, and reuben are off the charts.
Massive beer selection--to the reviewer who got upset about an Irish pub not having Killian's Irish Red: "Are you serious...?" If you're an American and think that Killian's will make you feel Irish for a night, go to a gas station's liquor section, buy a six pack, and stay home watching Boondock Saints. If you want to enjoy a truly Irish beer, come to Galway Arms for a Guinness. Barry pours THE BEST Guinness in the city. Guinness not your taste? Why not Smithwick's or Harp or Bulmer's or Jameson Irish Whiskey? But, let's for a moment, forget all of the "authenticity" rubbish--Galway Arms has a massive collection of taps. Upwards of 16, I think. If you can't find a beer that you like here, then... I don't know what. You're hopeless.
Authentically Irish--Irish-owned, Irish-operated, and Irish-enjoyed. Visitors from the old country love this place, and I don't think it's just because a couple blokes from Galway are running the show--it's because Galway Arms is massively reminiscent of a pub in Ireland. From the low lighting, the wooden floors, ceiling, walls, and pillars, the decor, and the Sunday night session, everything about this place exudes Ireland.
"Cead mile failte" hardly applies to this establishment--it's more like a million welcomes. As Paddy says every Sunday night, "You're always welcomed at The Galway Arms."
Seriously. You're doing yourself a disservice not coming here.
We came here because there was no room at Mickey's during the Ohio game around 7:30 on a Saturday night. No biggie, we just wanted to eat on a patio. The server first put us in the smallest booth for six people, which could only fit probably 4 people comfortably. And four of the people in my group were guys. Not gonna work. So we asked for a table on the patio and she told my friend, it's gonna be 10 minutes or it can be 30. Thanks for the heads-up.
So we waited maybe 15 minutes and got a table outside. When we ordered drinks my friend asked for a Killians and without looking at him just said "No." Awkward silence crept in. He said "MGD". Again she just said "No" while staring at her notepad. REALLY? An Irish bar doesn't have Killians, let alone a basic beer? She then looked at us and said, "You need more time?" and handed us the drink menu and walked away. SOOOO not even a suggestion for the beers you don't have? Come on.
I ordered the Arms Chicken sandwich and so did my sister's boyfriend. We both hated it. It tasted weird and smelled weird, I can't even describe it. I can't believe they made a plain chicken breast taste so awful. My sister ordered a chicken BBQ sandwich and she said she didn't like hers either. Maybe it was the chicken sandwiches that are just plain bad, because my bf ordered the fish and chips, which he liked, and another one of my friends got a corned beef sandwich.
I'm not a picky eater, but I've never really gotten food I hated either. Never again. Server was not helpful. The only thing I liked was the fact we had patio seating, but never again.
P.S. I was corrected by Dee C and found out Killians is brewed by Coors...even still, waitress did not help in suggesting a similar beer! Â Thanks Dee.
St. Patrick's Day, 2010. Where to go? Galway Arms.
I was brought to Galway Arms by my fiery Irish redheaded friend and her British boyfriend, along with a few of his British friends, who all said that this was the closest thing to an Irish pub outside of Ireland.
The black and tans were good and the fish and chips were the best I've had in the city. The corned beef and cabbage was phenomenal!! And the bread pudding?? Forget about it! Out. of. this. world.
Galway Arms is a hidden gem amongst a sea of fratty bars that specialize in crappy food and even worse company. Â It has a sweet outdoor patio that is NEVER crowded. Â It has an idiosyncratic interior that quite obviously used to be an apartment building (if you look up from the bar you can see a redone space that used to be a fire escape!). Â It has friendly servers. Â It has really solid specials on quality beers ($3 Sam Octoberfest and $4 Guinness 250). Â It has good Irish food (excellent fish & chips and shepherd's pie). Â It has TVs but they're not the focus... but they've still got the NFL package. Â It has trivia on wednesdays. Â It has my next weekend stop, an 80-ingredient bloody mary bar.
This place has character. Â It is to bars what Noble Tree is to coffeeshops. Â Awesome spot.
[Edit] Unfortuantely I have to report that while they do advertise (and have) NFL Sunday Ticket, Galway Arms is not a great place to go for football watching if your team is any team other than the Bears. Â Galway only has 3 TVs inside, and there is no seat in the bar that can see all three of them. Â Also they are unwilling to switch any TV other than the smallest and most remote of those away from the Bears game.
The bloody mary bar is very solid though.
Dearest Galway Arms,
When hiring for summer help, it's okay to be picky. Â I mean, the economy sucks right now - surely you have your pick of people vying for a summer job at an establishment with a great outdoor patio, right?
The service tonight was the worst I'd ever had here - seriously, terrible. Â At one point, my dinner date Sarah B couldn't stop laughing, saying "did she really just say that to you?!" Â Yes, our server sucked. Â Instead of being a server with some initiative, she blamed things that went wrong on US - the paying customers!
The beer menu says you offer Miller Lite in draft form - so when you deliver a bottle, it's OUR fault - we're supposed to be psychic and know that the menu is wrong?
My food was so NOT what I ordered. Â No apologies, and that's my fault too - despite the server actually saying to me, "yeah, customers get that wrong all the time." Â Um, how about being proactive and double checking when we place the order then?!
My normally very good Stoli and Sprites were completely watered down both times. Â Oh hell no.
Oh Galway Arms... Â I think you're going to get filed away under "good for winter dining" if this is the kind of staff you hire in the summer.
Best,
Jo Mama
Low-key Lincoln Park pub with a lot of personality. Â It was a bit too muggy to sit outside on their patio, but I loved lazing in our cozy booth. Â The menu boasted a fine selection of traditional Irish fare as well as American pub grub (think mozzarella sticks and artichoke dip). Â My lone onion ring was quite good, and I may have stolen a french fry... or two. Â
Great spot to chat someone up and grab a pint of Smithwicks or Blue Moon.
Galway is a decent place. Â Not too exciting, but decent.
The interior is cozy and dim. Â Watch out for that winding dangerous trip down the stairs to the bathrooms- Yikes! Â The outdoor seating in the front is a nice place to chill and watch the craziness on Clark St. Â Oh wait, it's chill until Mickey's next door starts bumping its club music.
If you go here, try the crab cakes. Â I dug 'em.
cold beer on a hot day, tasty onion rings that hold up to any other in the city, and free wifi that bleeds over to noble tree next door to help save the day....sweet;-)
Our waitress was way cute with authentic irish accent and the free round of bushmills on her was even way sweeter.
Outdoor beer garden is way tasty, allowing for maximum fishbowl activity and just steps away from Neos to finish the night.
For an LP location, not bad, and if I find parking right in front again will stop by for a pint...but who knows when that'll happen if ever.
***EDIT*** BIGGGGGG EDIT !!!!! SO Big i deleted the old review!
Ive been here 3 times in the last week. Once for just beers ($3 Sam Adams drafts...cant be beat...yum) Once for dinner and drinks and once for Brunch.
Dinner was great. Fish and Chips on Friday... awesome onion rings as an appetizer!! The Chicken tenders with the Smithwick's BBQ sauce is out of this world! I couldve ate those everyday for a week.
Brunch, again, was GREAT. I had french toast which was dipped in vanilla custard before thrown on the skillet, and it had the BEST syrup... warm with little apple chunks and walnut pieces. Sweet but NOT too sweet...it was just perfect
The boy had the Irish Breakfast, enough food to tide anyone over for most the day. The waiter said it was made with all Irish goods, straight from Ireland, and that it was the best in the city. I couldn't argue. Â Even with the beauty of my french toast in front of me, I was jealous of his eggs, black pudding, baked beans, Irish bacon, Irish sausage, hash browns and sliced tomato... I DID Â say it would fill you up for the whole day right???
They have a really warm atmosphere, good beer specials, nice people, and great food... Cant wait until summer and I can sit outside there again!
I'm from the east coast, and this place has the best Fish & Chips I've ever had! (So that's saying something!) Everytime has been a good experience, although the most recent time I went for lunch, the ketchup bottle exploded all over my friend - not sure why she didn't think it was as funny as I did...weird.
Anyway, definitely try it out - service is a bit slow, so don't go if you are in a rush.
I've been past this place roughly 432,554,213 times (give or take) and finally stopped in last night. We were in a weird mood and couldn't decide where to eat, so we hopped on the approaching Broadway bus with nowhere in particular in mind. After ruling out a few places that were closing soon, I made an executive decision and dragged my princess across the street to Galway Arms. It was really pretty chilly last night, so the warm, cozy atmosphere was perfect. The food was great; her southwest steak wrap was jam-packed with steak, and my chicken sandwich was really good too. $3 Sam Adams Oktoberfest pints hit the spot. It definitely won't be 432,554,213 passings before my next visit.
They have a pub quiz, which I'd like to check out sometime. You know, put all my useless knowledge to work!
This is a pretty solid place! Since I am a true lover of Shepard's Pie, I just had to order it. Â It ranks up there as the second best Shepard's Pie I have tasted. Â It is going to be difficult to dethrone the Shepard's Pie champion at Chief O'Neils! Â It was really good though and I really liked the way it was presented. Â The potaoes were in one big scoop in the middle of the bowl and the beef/veggie/gravy mixture was spooned around the potatoes. Â It was also pretty tasty too!
The service was good but it was nothing to get me all that excited. Â I liked the huge patio that they had and given the location of the place it wa a good spot for people watching. Â The day we went it was a little rainy out but the temperature was comfortable. Â We figured that it would be OK with the huge canopy over the patio. Â The sat us right at the edge of the patio while there were table open in the middle. Â The slight rain spatters I felt was mildly annoying but nothing that really pissed me off enough to drop it a star. Â
Overall it was a good experience. Â If I am in the area again I would go back but I would not make a special trip out of my way to go here!
