We've gotten take-out and we've had it delivered.  The food is really good and the portion sizes, especially if your order "large", are generous.  We'll be back.

Went to eat there for dinner tonight. My son was home visiting and left saying this is the best Chinese  food he had had and he eat it all over loving it.  We had the Mongolian shrimp it was to be spicy and it was not and I was ok wtih that... I know my son said most place if you want it spicy even if it says that most places you have to tell them you want it (must get alot of complains) My husband has the sweet and sour pork and loved it. Son had the  SMALL refried  chicken rice (bigger than he excepted it to be) and he also got the general chicken asking to more spicy and than normal and it was more than I could eat. It was early dinner time 4:30 and by time i we got done it was half full.... I was more than happy with our visit tonight. Not our first time we had been there since we live in the area and always had good food. The waitress was good ... she kept the table clean from dirty dishes and my tea filled and my son water filled. GOOD Visit OVER ALL

Just had lunch here with a friend. First time in several years. It was as good as I remember. We both had lunch specials. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, which included fried rice, egg roll and egg drop soup.  We also had a coupon from the entertainment book.  Either way it was a good deal. $7.75 each meal before discount. I would recommend this place!

Amazing food, great service and kind owners.

Highly recommend the Mongolian beef or anything that is on the lunch menu for that matter. I first went to imperial palace because it was near my house, but then a friend recommended Golden Chopsticks. I tried it out and was amazed. The prices are better and the quantity/quality of food you get is very pleasing. If you walk in with 6 bucks at lunch time you will walk out with a belly full of great food.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Also, they have a bar.

This place is cool. It seemed very clean when we walked in. And the employees seemed friendly. I was doing carryout so I didn't see too much of the dining room. From what I could see looked ideal for a sit down chinese restaurant, seemed like I place I wouldn't mind coming with my some friends or with my bf. The bar was full, they had bottles there they I hadn't seen before, so I was impressed by that even though I didn't get a drink.

We ordered sesame chicken, veggie fried rice, egg rolls, and mongolian beef. The girl at the bar who took our order said 15 minutes and she didn't lie! Our food was up quick, no hassle or long wait. The sesame chicken came with broccoli and it was pretty good, more fatty pieces than I would've liked though, the egg rolls were very good though, however they had a doughy smell to them so maybe they weren't fried long enough. The Mongolian beef was very good too! It had just enough spice and seemed to be from good quality beef...and the veggie fried rice, MMM-MMM!

I hadn't had much luck with Chinese food places in Bolingbrook, but I think I've found one that I can return to now!

Our family goes here every so often.  It's your typical Americanized Chines fare.  The servers are generally attentive and friendly and the ambiance is decent.  In general, most of the food has good flavor and isn't too greasy or salty.  But every once in awhile, we will get something a little bland.  It's that inconsistency that rates this place 3 stars instead of 4.
We usually get egg rolls or pot stickers to start and both are good.  And our favorite main entrees include the beef chow fun (which can be hit or miss), spicy green beans and Mongolian beef.
They do have a kids menu that does cater to kids that don't like Chinese food.  And there's a lot of food in the kids meal for the price, some entrees come with both fried rice and french fries.  But be warned, the "chicken nuggets" are basically breaded sweet sour chicken chunks without the sauce. Not bad or good, but not what you might expect when ordering chicken nuggets.

Crab Rangoon was pretty good. Dinner was fair. Great service though.

I order one thing and one thing ONLY from here:  I love the Sweet & Sour Lychee Pressed Duck which is VERY hard to find outside of China Town.

But aside from that, this is some of the saltiest and greasiest Chinese food I have ever had.  I have to make sure to order EVERYTHING no MSG or it might pickle my innards.  Likewise, when I order a bubble tea smoothie, the tapioca balls are ALWAYS too hard.  They should be SOFT.  I have explained this to them time and time again that they need to cook/boil the tapioca balls longer but no..... still manage to not get it right.

Try Imperial Palace or Bok Choy instead in Bolingbrook for a MUCH fresher taste and quality.

Been going here since I was a kid (although it has moved locations since then). In my opinion, it's the best Chinese food around.

The owner and servers are always kind.

One of those must-go places if you live in the area!

If I lived closer, this would be my first choice for Chinese food. The facilities are nice, service is efficient, and the food is good.

Run the other way, fast...we went for dinner on a Sat nite, the dining room was not too busy, about 10 tables total.  The dumpling soup was made with an eerie looking orange colored broth.  It took over an hour for our main dishes to arrive.  Having a 10 year old with us, sweet and sour shrimp was ordered. The ratio of breading to shrimp was astronomical, and the did not heat up the peppers, tomatoes or pineapple.  So they were cold and congealing while swimming in the sauce.  I ordered Gai Lan ( Chinese Broccoli) in oyster sauce which was not on the menu.  They did a fair job with that.  Hubby ordered beef with ginger and scallions.  Barely enough to share, no pronounced ginger taste at all.

Our waitress was aware of these problems and sincerely apologized and sent the owner to our table.  He did not give two shakes about the slowness or quality of the meal.  Did not apologize, just said it "was busy".  Run, run run the other way.  If you don't mind the drive, there are some really good Chinese places in Westmont and Lisle.

Monster lunch portions for under $7 while watching the Bears game on the flat screen. Score!

The food was pretty tasty, as far as these kinds of places go. Not too oily or anything, and the hot mustard is HOT! The portions are huge, at least for dine in... since I have had their carry out before and the containers are on the smaller side. They don't deliver btw.

They have ok fruit smoothies / boba drinks... can't really complain since decent alternative places are hard to come by in the burbs.

The service was attentive since we were one of two tables there for a late lunch.

Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad either... 3 stars since I would rate most fast food chinese places a 2.

I've had their version of  'Chinese' food a few times via takeout and I have to recommend in taking your business elsewhere.  The most recent time - the Mongolian Beef was so salty that I could not eat it lest my liver seizes up.  The Egg Drop soup tastes like ... I don't know, not Egg Drop soup that's for sure.  The Beef Noodle (which I absolutely love at other places) , was swimming in some kind of awful sugary BBQ/Teriyaki sauce - normally there is a very light sauce if at all.

Some things were OK - the Singapore Noodles was passable, as was the Egg Foo Young.  The lunch specials are nice - in that the price is good and you do get alot of food and that the specials go until 5pm.  Maybe things would be better if I actually went there and ate in, but with the quality of food that I have received with their take-out, I do not think that I would even attempt that.  Unfortunately there are not any real good Chinese food places in the area - else I would definitely go elsewhere.

This place has the best lunch specials it is worth it.. I have been going here for the past 10 years or so... The only thing i don't like is the older woman that works the register she is never nice and just has an attitude. Other than that i love the food and carry out and eat in there.. They moved to a bigger nicer location and it is all the more better.. I really enjoy the drinks try the Mai Thai's.. YUM!

Well, we drove to Bolingbrook to go to Golden Corral, cuz our kids love it, but it was packed.  So I saw the Grand Opening sign above Golden Chopsticks and figured we'd go there instead.  And we were not disappointed.  We ordered eggrolls and crab rangoon for an appetizer, neither of which was greasy.  The crab rangoon was good, and the eggrolls were fantastic!
My kids had the chicken kids meal, which came with fries and fried rice........the fried rice was a little greasy, but the chicken was very good.  The amount of food they got was crazy!
My husband and I got pork fried rice and cashew chicken.  The fried rice was good--a lot of meat in it, lots of bean sprouts, just the way we like it.  The cashew chicken had white sauce instead of brown sauce, but it was really good.  Everything we had tasted freshly made, and we really enjoyed it.
With the Grand Opening sign and the number of employees hovering around the restaurant, I think that possibly it is under new management, so maybe previous reviews no longer apply.....I don't know, give it a try.  We would go there again, definitely!

I know before they moved we never liked the food when we lived in the area
since the move we tried the pork fried rice only and loved it
not sure about the other items but at night it looks like a cool place to dine
only gave 3 stars because i know the food use to be bad but recently i had the fried rice twice to go and it was really good

We went here over the weekend - the food is greatly improved but i found the service to be really slow
I was happy to see they offered a kids menu but not happy they did not offer anything for kids to drink, no milk, no juice only Orange juice. Sorry but my daughter drinks Hi C or milk.
the way I see it if you want to see families come out more - you need to offere things for the little people in the group. Lucky for me i had a cup of milk in a cooler in my car and brought it in.
otherwise their food is greatly improved from 15 yrs ago, i will return in the future or do more takeouts but if you go with little people remember to bring a drink for them

In the former home of the Baker's Square, this place recently set up shop as a full service restaurant, as opposed to their old carryout only location down the street a bit.

We went here on a Wednesday night, and they were doing a very brisk business with carryout, but the dining room was scarcely populated. Our server was very nice and attentive, but we were sat in the area where the rest of the staff seemed to hang out, so it was rather noisy.

The food was pretty fair. The crab Rangoon were standard, but the pot stickers were excellent, served with a sweet-tasting ginger sauce. Our main dishes were decent. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef, and the sampling I tried was just a bit too salty for me. But my Kung-Pao chicken had a good kick to it, but just had more peanuts than chicken in it. And the worst part of the meal? The soy sauce. I don't know what brand they had on the table, but it was as thick as motor oil. After 500,000 miles without a change. And extra salty. I mean, burning the mouth off salty. Ouch.

A pretty fair experience, but for lack of other sit-down Chinese options, I probably will end up back here.

This place must have changed owners because it went from really good food and great drinks to, Run Forest run. I had the Wonton soup and it looked just like wrong. There were huge slices of dryed pork roast, a couple of w/t's and a 1/4 of a hard boiled egg? Where the hell did that come from. My friend had the sweet and sour and he said it was just o.k. I had the Mongolian beef. It has a red pepper next to it on the menu. But it was wasn't spicy or hot? It had nothing in common with mongolia. We also had the beef Lo Mein. It came in a frickin pie dish? Did they run out of Lo Mein noodles? It looked like spagetti. The drinks were pretty bad also. I have never seen a Chinese restaurant that had fruit smoothies. But I should have known by the french fries on the menu that this was more of a strap on the feed bag and get out, then a serious restaurant. I would have given it 1/2 a star but I don't know how to do that. I am done. The only thing that this place has to offer is that it's in Bolingbrook. Bring your wife.

I'm being over-generous here with the stars, but I'll preface this with the fact that this place is a favorite of a foodie friend of mine, so my experience may not be the norm...

We went there as part of a large party of friends who dine out about once a month. The "hosts" for this month's outing have been going here for years.

The wife and I have pretty much stopped going to Chinese places mostly because the food seems to be an endless selection of steam table meat tossed in a wok with some heavy, salty, fatty sauces and some kind of veggies cooked to the point of disintegration. On these factors Golden Chopsticks ranks with the rest.

So I'll leave out the details and tell you that if you are a "Chinese food" fan, this place is a good as the next. If, on the other hand, you're looking for something beyond the norm, keep looking.

For the record, my friends recommend the Mongolian Beef...

    :-)
