  I had never been to this bar before this summer, and have now visited twice.  Both times have been at the tail end of a evening of debauchery.   I was skeptical, but this place is pretty solid.  A short tab beer list, but one that includes at least one or two great choices.  Friendly bartenders.  Reasonable prices.  BUBBLE HOCKEY.  And one of those vending machines that dispenses a handful of Hot Tamales or Mike and Ikes for 25 cents.  Which is odd, but totally what you want when you at that point in the evening.  I look forward to returning.

  My husband is originally from MN. When we visit from GA we ALWAYS stop by The Grand Seven. Everyone is friendly. The pizzas are strangely delicious and the beer is always cold. It doesn't get any better for a casual fun atmosphere. I highly recommend!!

  Great neighborhood bar. Friendly atmosphere and very active when the Wild are in town. Go see Donny, "the celebrity bartender" from 4-7 on Saturday nights.

  A "guys bar". Definitely not gay, but not a lot of ladies in this place. Whenever there is an event in St Paul, this place is jumping. Hard to park at times but worth stopping. Lots of local St Paul folks who all seem to know each other. Pizzas and burgers when they feel like making them. Good prices and nice selection of everything alcoholic. Not open until after 3 most days.
