Very reasonable prices. Â Reminds me of a Five Guys, only the burgers are bigger here. Â They had a lot of different toppings. Â The burger came with all you could eat french fries and a side. Â We tried the green beans, macaroni and cheese and baked beans. Â The macaroni and cheese was mushy, but the other sides were good.
With all the burger places improving their fries recently, the store bought, crinkle cut, soggy fries were a bit disappointing. Â I think there is a niche to be filled for a better, high quality burger and fries place. Â I'm just not sure that this is the place.
We weren't able to get in for the first month they were open, because they were always packed. Â When we finally went (early July) there were no other people in line, but they told us up front that the burgers were pre-cooked, which lost them a few points. Â They do have a good assortment of toppings to put on them, and pre-cooked or not, the burgers were pretty good. Â The fries (standard pre-packaged crinkle-cuts) were fried just right, and you can get unlimited refills. Â The macaroni and cheese, however, also appeared to be pre-packaged, and consisted of overcooked noodles mixed with globs of flavourless, goopy cheese sauce. Â Don't bother with it.
The high school theme is kind of cheesy, but it was fun to look at all the old metal lunchboxes lined up on the walls.
