Harbell's Grill and Sports Bar

Wanted a place to watch the Cards play.  Beer was too flat, needed to be colder.  Food was ok, also (nacho chips stale; wings tastless)  Service ok.  Will probably go somewhere else next time.

I have been about 4 times now. It has been very good each time. I always get the BBQ burger which comes topped with lots of pulled pork, fried onions, and slaw. My wife has tried several different things and they have always been good. This time we shared some funnel cake fries for desert. I can recommend those also. I usually get water but one time a wanted some beer and I thought they needed a better draft selection but I won't hold that against them.

Harbell's is now my new favorite bar/restaurant to visit when I go downtown. The food is surprisingly tasty and isn't too expensive. The beer is super cold, although they need to work on their drink specials ($6 Coors Light pitchers - all day, every day). Coor's Light is fine, but it seems like that's what every other bar in town has for their pitcher special.  Their shot specials are somewhat weak.  The shots are pre-mixed ahead of time so the bartender just pours them out of a container he keeps in the fridge. I would have given five stars, but the drinks are lacking.

My favorite thing about Harbell's is their TWO 80" flat screen TV's. This is the go to spot to watch your favorite sports team. The place is very clean and so are the restrooms. Everyone is very friendly and the waitstaff is quick and attentive.

Give this place a shot. It's a nice alternative to the usual downtown bars.
