This is the first Korean restaurant I have been to so I do not have anything to base this review against. That being said this place was great! There were so many choices and the waitress was very nice and very helpful with all of our questions. We all got different kinds of sushi and shared them and they were all good. After you order your dish they bring you 6 or 7 sides that were all great. I will definitely be back to try all of the other dishes.
Review Source:This was my first time trying Korean food, but I really enjoyed Soo's! Â The food was delicious. Â I ordered a dish with marinated vegetables and meat served over rice. Â The waitress helpfully suggested I get the "hot stone bowl" instead of eating it cold, so the rice would be golden on the bottom. Â I followed her suggestion and was so glad I did because it was awesome! Â All of the shared sides that came with our meal were delicious as well. Â I'd definitely go back and try more Korean food. Â The people who run this place seem to be aware that not every Midwesterner is going to be well-versed in Korean cuisine so there are little books and posters all around to explain things. Â That may seem a little cheesy to Korean-dining veterans, but it's certainly not hurting anything. Â The dining room was somewhat dimly lit and very clean, making the perfect place for a nice meal. Â My boyfriend, who wasn't new to this type of cuisine, also proclaimed it a good place and he enjoyed a Hite beer while dining. Â The price of our meal and the beer was quite a bit better than I expected. Â Overall, very impressed!
