Love Harbor Lounge for the views, the seats, the setting and the vibe. Great music, amazing panoramic views of the harbor and great drinks. It's intimate and wonderful!!

Came here on Friday May 24th 2013.

Was pre happy hour so the place was pretty empty which was perfect. Met some great friends and enjoyed the amazing view and deck this spot has. Couldn't of asked for a better martini (paired with their awesome wasabi peanuts!) it was perfect.

Bartender was friendly and fun and we will 100% be back!

The only reason this is getting three stars is because of the view. If it weren't for that, this place would be a solid one. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon. There were 6 of us. When we walked in the bartender was nowhere to be found, so we grabbed some seats. When he did emerge he completely ignored us, even though he obviously saw us because he walked by our table to get someone else's order. He continued to ignore us for several minutes. I was about to get up and leave when he finally came over. I ordered the mint julep that was on special and it was AWFUL. Absolutely disgusting. The mint hadn't been muddled at all, so it didn't taste like mint at all. And the alcohol hadn't even been stirred together; the first sip was pure alcohol and almost made me vomit. So I was left to mix and muddle my own drink with my little plastic cocktail straw. It was definitely not worth it, especially for the price.

I would never come back to this place based on this experience.

AMAZING views, cozy interior that is well laid out and adorably decorated.  Cocktails are amazing, I could drink their cucumber martinis forever!!  They also give you some nice little snacks to munch on as you cocktail, relax, and enjoy the views!  If only they served some apps too then you could really hang out here all day!  The service was excellent, the atmosphere was amazing, could not ask for a better cocktail lounge in p-town!

My wife and I stopped in P-Town on our honeymoon recently and we decided to grab a drink somewhere.  We walked down to some vintage clothes store and noticed this was back there as well, so we decided to check it out.  We were there in the early afternoon so it was pretty empty, but it looked like a really cool place.  Right on the water, with it's own little pier you can hang out on.  The interior was very modern and comfortable with a nice ocean breeze blowing through.

The owner (I think he was the owner) was very friendly.  I just had a draft beer, but my wife had a bloody mary which she tells me was amazing.

I'd definitely go back here with friends for drinks if I'm in P-Town again.  I highly suggest you make a stop in here as well, it's a great place to have a drink.

Fantastic place to take advantage of the breeze while day-drinking. The bartender was lovely, the vibe was great. A diverse mix of people taking a break from the bustling street outside. Enjoyed it so much, we sat for a second drink!

Looking for a nice cool mellow upscale place to enjoy a drink. This is the place to go.  Both the cocktails and wine selection worked well for me.

This has now become an established place to get away from some of the hub bub of bear week when I need a short respite from all the fun on the streets.

Harbor Lounge may be my new favorite bar in Provincetown. It is so damn intimate and adorable that I just want to squeeze it!!! I walked in just the other day to check them out (in the daytime) and had a talk with the owner (who is a total sweetheart). Everything about Harbor Lounge is warm and friendly. The views are amazing and I can't wait to come back once it warms up a little (it's May right now as I'm writing this). There is a little outdoor area on a dock where you can bring your drinks or smoke (for you smokers... not me).

Huge windows with amazing water views, comfy leather couches, wasabi peas. Oh and pretty cheap and powerful drinks.

It got PACKED as the night wore on and, as a hetero couple, we started to feel out of place pretty quickly. Not a huge issue - just is what it is.

Place could use more varieties of liquor at the bar (especially on the higher end - a disappointing trend in PTown) but it did the job.

Picture this - a rainy day in P'town - you've strolled Commercial Street and you just want to step away from the hubbub - and maybe all those tourists that arrived by bus. You happen along to this fabulous waterfront bar - chic yet welcoming couches - lots of them - a pretty bar - and AMAZING views.  What might be lacking?  Well - the perfect cocktail!  Have no fear - they have 'em here!  A creative cocktail menu, nice wines (and I assume beers - but I don't drink beer so it was not on my radar), and delightful, different bar munchies.  Worthy of a rainy afternoon - or a sunny one - soaking up some seriously gorg views and sipping on a lovely libation.  Be forewarned - this is not a late night place - as I recall they close around 10 pm (perhaps because it is near residential dwellings?)

One of my favorite places to go to in Ptown. We had a party for our 2nd Anniversary party for the dental practice I manage and it could not have been more wonderful. Atmosphere and location are perfect.

Fabulous! Great Espresso Martini that made me smile. Especially after a really disappointing meal at Lorrianes.

Will be back at least one or two more nights while we are here! The Martini's are truly the BOMB!

Found out through a friend after I posted on Facebook that he actually knows Margaret who owns this fine establishment.

Margaret, would love to know where you got the wood tables by the sofas!

I stumbled upon Harbor Lounge for the first time in summer 2010 with my then-girlfriend (now-wife).  We really liked the vibe and the space, so when we were planning our wedding weekend we decided this would be a great, casual yet classy joint to use for our "welcome party" the night before the wedding.

Margaret was really accommodating, and allowed us to use the bar for the night of our party.  We brought in our own food and paid just $50 for the use of a table for our food setup and the extra cleanup labor for her staff.  She also gave us a celebratory bottle of champagne - I always appreciate little touches of courtesy.

The one drawback was that we couldn't reserve the entire space, so when our party kicked off, there were already people sitting on all the nice comfy couches.  Of course, they were friendly, and anyway our friends and family eventually crowded those folks right out!  We had about 50 people and it was a good fit for the space.

This is definitely a great place to stop for a quiet cocktail, some views of the water, or... a party with a big group of folks.

I'm so surprised that this place wasn't packed with people!  My girlfriend and I stopped in here for some drinks before dinner and were very impressed with the upscale atmosphere and super friendly staff.  Also, apparently they make an awesome mojito.  This is more of a cocktail place (there are no beers on tap) but they still have a few beer options in the bottle.

The couches are super comfortable and it's very refreshing that the atmosphere is classy but definitely not pretentious.  It seems that anyone would be welcome here. There's a great little deck out back where you can take in the views of the harbor and have some good conversation.  This place is a bit hidden off Commercial Street but well worth seeking out.  Recommended!

This place is beautifully sited, has a spacious feel and a nice vibe... that is until you notice how BAD the music selection is. My partner & I were there on a slightly gloomy night -- Ptown is beautiful even through rain spattered windows. We were happy with the drinks, the cool mod furniture and the relaxes atmosphere where all are welcome. But... the bad, thumping repetitive disco just ruined the vibe! Please update your music to match the surroundings!!! A playlist of sexy lounge music would make the place somewhere we would return to regularly.

Headed here to kick off the night and look at the ocean.  Fantastic modern bar that can be a bit chilly with the windows wide open!    There is a door to let you walk out onto the deck.  Lots of people were out there looking around, smoking, enjoying the evening... There are lots of places to sit indoors.

Martinis.. and fantastic Japanese spicy peas and nuts.  Great atmosphere.  Would come again.

On my most recent trip to Provincetown, my friends and I discovered the Harbor Lounge with help from yelpers who had gone before us.  Wow!  This lounge is the perfect place for hanging out with friends all while enjoying great drinks and great weather.

The space is just beautiful.  Sliders on three sides of the rooms open up allowing the harbor breeze to flow straight through the room.  When the tide is high, the water completely moves in under the private pier and right up to the edge of the lounge.  It almost felt like you were in a living room that was built in the middle of the sea.

The decor is modern and minimalistic.  Comfortable leather chairs are setup in such a way that there are about 6 or 7 different sitting areas where you can have conversations with your friends.  There are coffee tables that appear to be made from reclaimed pier wood.  There are also ottomans you can pull over to put your feet up on.  The bar is also a nice place to hang out on if you prefer.

The service was good and it felt nice to be welcomed in on our first visit.  The drink prices are definitely more reasonable than other places in PTown.

The Harbor Lounge has a last call at 10pm.  It is quite a shame that it closes so early!!  I hope they are working on getting a permit that allows them to stay open later!  If you haven't been here yet, make it a point to stop by!  You won't be disappointed that you did.

Highly recommend !  Delicious drinks that are reasonably priced, great crowd and amazing views.  Floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides plus a large pier.  One of Ptown's best kept secrets.  Liam makes the best drinks in town.  Recommend the Beehive or Lady Burns !

This little lounge should be packed to the GILLS all of the time.  Seriously.  Excellent cocktails, reasonable prices and a beautiful view during the day and night.
    I went twice.

Once alone sitting at the bar during the day (no pity please, I had a book)
and once with a largish group of friends at night.

Both times I was impressed with how perfect a place this is.

I first want to address the review that refered to it as a gay bar. Its a gay bar in the sense that there will be gay people there (like just about every bar in Provincetown) but all people are welcome, unlike some gay bars.

I've been coming to Provincetown for years and its starting to get a bit too high end and the Harbor Lounge had that feel to me at first. Its new, has a great view and has the feel of a place where only the wealthy can come. But thats not the case at all. Its has a simple, almost non existent decor due to the fact that the wrap around glass make for limited wall space. Its simplicity is very refreshing in a town where overemphasis is the norm. They private pier out back is great, even in the cold weather. I was lucky enough to meet the owner on New Years and she and her staff were very attentive and friendly. Beer options are a bit limited and they only have bottles but they had some nice wines and good drink options.

All in all its a great place and I'll be back time and again as long is its there.

Nice lounge for when you don't want dirty drunken noisy crowds. Best on a breezy evening, when you can walk the little boardwalk over the bay while enjoying a drink.

Although the late-night crowd may be slightly different, this place is especially fantastic for afternoon and early-evening drinks. The wine list is yummy and diverse; the bartenders make excellent cocktails; and, best of all, Harbor doesn't overprice every drink like so many other Ptown bars.

The decor is also so relaxing and classy - not sleazy in the least bit, like, again, so many other gay bars in Ptown. It's sooooo relaaaaaxing and well designed, especially that mini boardwalk you can march down while trying not to spill your drink. We were tempted to have a catwalk competition after consuming a surplus of affordable drinks. Another excellent decision: they've barred up the lovely giant windows so that drunk people like us cannot fall out of them and onto the high-tide beach below...!
