Home Run Burgers

The decor is a bit tacky if you aren't a baseball fan but I'm not as worried about the atmosphere as I am about the food. This location is within walking distance of UofL in the Cardinal Towne area. They do take Cardinal Cash like other merchants in that area, but keep in mind that isn't the same as the meal plan.

I've been several times and have had the lil league burger as well as the veggie burger. Both have been equally tasty as were their cajun fries. They claim to use meat free of antibiotics, fillers, etc. which is good. However, after some googling the farm they receive meat from is in Kansas, so I'm not sure how accurate that info is. That being said, I feel satisfied for a long time after eating there unlike other fast food restaurants and so I'm happy!

The service is always good and wait time is reasonable when you dine during lunch time. If you're in the area and like Five Guys and the like, give them a try!
