Eiderdown

Beer cheese and burger.  That's all you need.  Both are amazing and I think about the beer cheese on a regular basis, craving it at random times.  (all the other food is delicious too) The owners are great great people and my husband and I love to support this wonderful restaurant.

Eiderdown is a really cute place with friendly service. I loved my meal. Their crepes are listed as an appetizer, but I had them as part of my meal and scraped the plate clean. The beer cheese is good, too. My friends enjoyed the duck fat popcorn.

For dessert I tried the fried cherry pies with orange blossom honey. You get three little pies and they were soooo good. Another plate I scraped clean.

There are tons of reviews for this place and I am not going to repeat what everyone is saying about the food and beer except that the food is great, especially the apps!! The beer selection is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable about it.  I wanted to shift the focus to the staff and the wine.  The staff is very attentive and is very proud of the restaurant and what is has to offer.  I went in for lunch and felt like I was the only customer that they had.  They let me taste whatever I wanted and that was very helpful with the extensive beer list.  Now to the wine.  I know that it is very tricky to select and serve wine that doesn't break the customer but is still good quality and satisfying.  Whoever selects their wine does an excellent job.  They offer two of my personal (cheaper)  favorites by the glass. The Four Vines OVC Zin and the Predator Zin are must try wines and are unbeatable at that price point.  Great place!!!
