Still my favorite bar in town. At one point it was like my second home, it is still where I would take any out of town visitor who wants to see the real Louisville. Great jukebox and the outdoor area is nice (both front and back). The only time I would skip going is a Friday or Saturday night when the weather is bad because people will be packed like sardines.
Review Source:There's something almost magical about this bar that made it feel instantly cozy as soon as we sat down. I'd never been here before, and neither of us were locals, but it felt very welcoming. Maybe it was the instant service, or the insanely fair prices. Or the cat who sat in the bar stool next to me. Yes, I do mean a feline was seriously sitting next to me. It just seemed right somehow.
They have a noteworthy selection of beers from all over. Lots of exotic imports, as well as some local brews. And they had good liquor, being sold at half the price I'm accustomed to paying. The set up is tasteful and maybe a little vintage, but without being kitschy. My friend and I both commented on how much we liked it.
I really like this bar. Probably my favorite in Louisville. Great selection of beer on tap and I like the space. The outdoor patio in back is open and shady. Inside it's just a classic bar. They had $2.00 BBC Gold on tap... best 2 buck beer I've ever had, please and thank you. If I lived in Louisville I would come here so often that, surely, they would have a seat with my name on it.
