This McDonalds location has had a troubled past from some years ago when it was a corporate owned store. Â Specifically this location was infested with beggars, panhandlers and homeless people because of its closeness to the Wayside Christian Mission shelter. Â Drug deals were done here and it was not at all unusual to find people sleeping on the tables, sitting on the patio out front drinking vodka or whiskey at all hours of day or night. Â This location was not suitable for children due to all the profane language from its homeless campers. Â But all that started changing a few years ago when this location became a franchisee run location. Â The new franchise operator got rid of the beggars and panhandlers, cleaned the place up, improved customer service, fired workers that needed fired and hired good replacements. Â I now stop at this location routinely multiple times a week to get coffee, McDoubles and so on. Â The difference between the current and the old is the difference between night and day. Â If your choice is McDonalds then I can certainly recommend this location. Â Thumbs up.
