City Cafe/Health Sciences Center

Upon walking into City Cafe with some co-workers the first thing that I noticed was a sticker on the door that said, "Keep Louisville Weird."  I hoped that meant that I would encounter the kind of high quality food and service that movement usually prides themselves on.  I ordered the sandwich of the month which was a chicken sandwich.  It normally comes with bacon.  Since they seemed fairly vegetarian friendly I asked if they had turkey bacon or a bacon substitute and they did not so I got it without the bacon as I'm not a pork eater (I'm not deducting stars for that, just mentioning it as a FYI).  When I got the sandwich it was just okay.  It was advertised as having an aioli but what it came with was more like a spicy salad dressing than an aioli.  The sandwich didn't have any lettuce, tomato, etc.  It was just chicken, aioli, cheese, and bread (normally bacon as well).  It really seemed like it lacked substance.  
The real problem came when I decided to go back up to the counter and order a chai latte before we departed to go back to the office.  I clearly said "chai latte" to the woman at the register.  She charged me for a chai.  Then I noticed that the woman who was making the drinks was pulling coffee ingredients.  So, when she handed me my drink I said, "this is a Chai right?" and she said "yes".  I smelled it and it smelled like coffee.  I took a taste and it was coffee.  I told her that it was not Chai and was in fact coffee.  She just said "Oh" and then went about remaking me a Chai.  However, when she finally did hand me a Chai it was only half full of tea and was half foam.   Overall this was just a really disappointing experience and not one that I would be particularly eager to repeat.  I definatly wouldn't order another Chai from them again.
